- Orks are with Chaos (disorder), Eldar are with the Imperium of man (order)
Yay for cover systems though. The combat in general sounds solid.
I'm not one for MMORP Gs.
So why the hell did I just get a boner?
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."Awesome. I'd better be able to play Guard.
Failing that, I'm making a Callidus assassin chick. My Callidus model, she has served me well in many games. From killing Abbadon, to slicing up a costly terminator squad, to disrupting heavy weapons... I need to repaint her, actually...
But yeah, looks like this game is shaping up well.
40K fetish.
It's fairly normal amongst tropers, no worries. Rule of Cool and Grimdark aren't going to PotHole themselves, anyway.
Order vs. Disorder, huh? Well, seems pretty convenient that the TT version has Flanderized all its factions into those two camps recently.
Par for the Course. They did this in Dawn of War: Winter Assault too. And the Eldar have been known to aid the filthy mon-keigh from time to time.
Also, dual wielding Khornate chainsword marine.

Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Warhammer Online (Fantasy) Veteran here.
Whats this about 40k? Oh dear. Looks like I'll have to murder half the Internet with my Grey Knight.
Again.
TV Tropes, you guys have first crack at me. I will be taking other offers though. I'll be in my trailer.
Dark Eldar incoming?! KHORNATE NOW?
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!
Hell, they've even got one of my favorite Marine chapters to boot.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984I am so going to play a techpriest. My Dark Heresy character was a Genki Girl with bright pink Girlish Pigtails who had no lower jaw. Best. Random roll. Ever. Wonder if i can recreate her...

I've bought a lot of 40k games lately, but I probably won't buy this one because I have no time for MMOs.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."I read the words "Will play like" and "Space Marine" in the same sentence. This makes me OMGYES more then anything ever.
All those reviews that said Warhammer 40000 Space Marine wasn't the best shooter released this year are WRONG. That's not just me fanboying out. It's a freaking beautiful piece of work that bloody PERFECTS how combat should be done. And now Dark Millenium is using it as a template. So there will be an MMO. An action MMO. That's set in the Warhammer 40000 universe. That is using the gameplay laid out by one of the best action games since freakin' Doom.
Where i can finally play as a techpriest and/or dual wield chainsaw swords.
Someone find me a time machine.
So.... how are they going to balance things like Marines and Cultists?
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Being a Cultist is just something you start out as. By endgame everyone is a Sternguard Vet/Chaos Champion what have you.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!ALL MY THRONES!
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.BTW, if we get in, we're forming a clan called the Ghostwalkers.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."I second this.
I approve of this. Unfortunately, we have to play as the Black Templars.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Just to clarify, you're not actually a Sternguard. You're just equivalent to one in terms of gear/experience/bling.
Sorry, I can't hear you from my FLYING METAL BOX!Why do you have to break my heart like that?
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Hell, maybe you are. We don't got too much info at the moment.
And what's wrong with Black Templars? They are the most obscenely hardcore chapter out there. Their job is charge into combat, ignoring any amounts of enemy forces or heavy artillery bombardments thrown their way, and then chop up everyone they see that registers as "Bad guy". If that doesn't work, they do the same thing. Only faster.
While it's far from unheard of from Eldar and Imperium to fight together against a bigger threat (Eldar are just as likely to help humans as to fight them, depending on what their seers have forseen will happen), the featured marine chapter will be Black Templars, the most xenophobic, hardline "pray kill burn!" chapter out there, who refuse to work with Imperial psykers, let alone aliens.
Considering that one of the advanced/hero classes for Imperium is Librarian, either Black Templars are not the ONLY featured Chapters, or there will be fair amount of lore rape.
Has a compulsive editing and re-editing disorder.Hopefully the former, because it means we might be able to make the Ghost Walkers after all.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.oh man.. I so want this, yet I so don't have time for MMOs...
and what's all this talk about chaos/space marines and dark eldar? Freakin Orks man!
