KING ARTHUR?! MINECRAFT?! TERRARIA?! I'M IN!
/makes passing good cheer
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Is it any good?
Because it's free, and that wins it bonus points.
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."@Rot
It doesn't really have anything to do with the King Arthur mythos, unfortunately.
@Pyro
It is indeed awesome.
Here's some info about the game:
There are two main game modes (so far, more are in development) Capture the Flag and Gold Rush (I think that's what it's called, anyway, I only played CTF).
Every map is randomly generated and you have no defenses other than your spawn point when you start. The game has a full 2D physics engine, I.E., if you bring a castle's support down it will crumble.
There are 3 classes in this game:
Builder: The heart of every team. These guys can mine and cut down trees to build many, many things. They can build walls, team-specific doors, trap bridges, spikes, ladders... there are many creative things to do with constructions. It is up to these guys to build up all of your defenses, along with helping the offense with things like tunneling into the enemy's base.
However, they are very pathetic, combat-wise, with only a weak, basic attack; along with only having a meager 2 hearts. They might be able to hold their own against another builder, but anything else will slaughter them.
Knight: The defensive backbone of the team. These guys have three hearts, heavy armor and a sword and shield. They also come equipped with bombs that will insta-gib any foe unlucky enough to be caught defenseless, along with destroying the terrain. These guys serve pretty well as both offense or defense, their shield make for a handy way to block the Archer's arrows, and they are key to making sure your builders can get work done outside of your base.
They will absolutely slaughter any builders they fight (unless the builder is smart enough to run away/lead the knight into a trap) and at close range archers aren't much of a problem, either. Fighting with other knights mostly comes down to individual skill, mostly coming down to good use of the shield and charge attack.
Archer: The main "Support" class. These guys have (as the name implies) a bow and arrows, along with the ability to harvest additional arrows from trees. Again, these guys are good as both offensive and defensive fighters: on the front lines, they can support Knights in combat by taking advantage of openings in the enemy's guard, and they also make for pretty good defenders. Their ability to arch their arrows over walls, leading to a nigh-impenetrable rain of arrows is quite powerful.
Again, against builders Archers will almost always win, as long as they have a clear shot. Knights are a problem, with their arrow-blocking shields, and are best fought at range unless you are really good at timing your shots to interrupt their attacks. Combat against other archers usually boils down to a dodge-fest, especially since arrows can be shot from mid-air.
This game is still in alpha, so new features are still being added all the time.

"The world ends with you. If you want to enjoy life, expand your world. You gotta push your horizons out as far as they'll go."This game is pretty fun.
UN JOUR JE SERAI DE RETOUR PRÈS DE TOIBluh, rounds take forever to finish in this game.
Seriously, it can take around an hour to finish, depending on the size of the map + how good the builders are.
"The world ends with you. If you want to enjoy life, expand your world. You gotta push your horizons out as far as they'll go."Recently, the game has fixed that problem somewhat by giving teams a limited supply of respawns. Also, knights don't start with bombs anymore, they have to be bought at a bomb shop, meaning the map doesn't turn itself into swiss cheese as often. The annoying thing about this is that it gives defenders a hefty advantage, and now archers don't start with arrows either.
Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe.I played around with it in august

So, has anyone else played this game? It's kind of like a mix of Team Fortress 2, Terraria, Minecraft and probably a lot more games that I didn't think of.
I'll write a bit more about this game later, but it just downloaded and I want to try it out a bit.
