So, watched this series. It's just as ridiculous as everyone says.

You know, I think Ume is a terrible character, and well-worth her Scrappy status. However, I still like her. No idea why, since I shouldn't, by all reasoning.

Ume has a perfect hime cut. I'm so mad she has that personality.

I love hime cut hairstyles.

Well, I think she's the best looking character in the series. Great hair, good body shape and proportions, and Zettai Ryouiki.

Every other girl trumps her when you take personality into account though. And I think Yarizui's and Shaga's bodies are on par with hers.

Shaga's okay, but Yarizui is plain dull looking in my eyes. She falls behind most of them, guys included. And including them, Ume's not last in personality, though I've never denied she's got a terrible personality. On the other hand, I personally tend to get along with those kinds of people, strangely enough, as I'm quite far from that myself.

Damn it I thought this thread being bumped meant there was gonna be a Season 2 coming out or something, not another half-assed abridged series. >_>

Frankly I don't even see the point of making fun of a series that doesn't take itself seriously in the first place.

But what if they make it seem serious instead?

Seems like Funi licensed the series! It may not be an official announcement, but I wouldn't be too surprised if we hear something in the next day or two.

It's streaming rights only for now...which is odd, since it's a few years too late to be anything besides a full license.

I was ready to write this show off but it reminds me of A Ir Gear - extreme sports competition over a seemingly mundane activity (rollerskating/buying half-priced food).

It picks up by the 2nd episode. Though I'm a bit confused as to where Saito learned to fight all of a sudden - didn't see him actually train or anything then suddenly he's kicking ass with the Wizard.
