Since the thread was bumped I guess this is a good a time as any to say that I finished the first season a while back.
I didn't like it.

The parts that completely ignore the romance are the parts of the show I liked.

It wasn't even that, it was the melodrama, random things that didn't make sense ( Shana has wings now lolol), and the occasionallgratuitous fanservice (EPISODE NIIIIIIIIIIIIINE *shakes fists*).
Though I will say that Shana is a MUCH better character than... that other one.
