I really hope Yuji has a good reason for this Face Heel Turn.
#IceBearForPresidentOh, new series has started?
Excellent time for my internet to suck harder than usual.
So, this heel-face turn related to that Festival of the Snake thing I heard about?
Which groups are translating it? I heared bad things about commie with fate/zero

Snake of the Festival-Yuji was literally the only thing I was expecting this season for, and they give him to me in the very first episode? That's... kind of anticlimatic.
Fansubwiki says that Doki is doing Sn S III but they've yet to get the first episode out. Commie's only really bad if you're allergic to Hi10p or dropped honorifics.
Please be gentle with me.Hahaha, Eclipse and Static Subs are doing this together.
Murrl LustFatMWhat the heck?
Another Retcon to start off the new season?
Didn't they do a small Retcon to start off season two in order to reset the relationship status and now again. After how many years of us thinking it was a happy ending and now it's a Mind Screw?
What the wha?
Not a retcon at all, actually; that scene picked up right at the same moment that the last scene left off. That said, this does confuse me about where the S OV As fit now.
deviantArt | TwitterYuji has gone! Yuji has gone! Yuji has gone! Yuji has gone! And then Yuji was an Evil Overlord.
I hope they actually explain this properly in the next episode.
Welp, new episode. Still no proper explanation, although a bit of weirdness with Yuji's voice changing between normal!Yuji and deep!Yuji. Hopefully the next episode preview is a sign of less confusing things to come.
Unrelated note: the next episode preview had a song playing in the background that I couldn't quite place. Anyone recognize it?
deviantArt | TwitterThe way I understand it, Evil!Yuji is the spirit of that guy Gin who was sealed inside the thing keeping Yuji alive. Yuji made some kind deal with Gin to share his body. I believe Yuji is doing this in order to stop the Eternal War.
Gin? Who's that? The only thing I remember being sealed inside the Reiji Maigo is The Silver AKA The Snake of the Festival.
deviantArt | Twitter"Gin" (the word) is silver in Japanese, if I'm not mistaken.

Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listAh, in the subs I was watching they called him Gin. Gin means "Silver" in Japanese. The Silver was apparently leader of the Guze before he was sealed. If Silver!Yuji can keep the demons from running amok they stand a chance of minimizing human casualties, ending the war, and thus freeing Shana and the others from their duties as a Flame Haze.
At long last! The long-awaited reunion! Shana and Yuji!
But first twenty minutes of pointless clip show! Then cut to black!

deviantArt | TwitterQueeeeeeeeeeeestion. I only saw most of the first season. I think. How much of the series would I need to watch to get caught up.
Fight smart, not fair. The entire first season and the last half of the second. First half of the second can be largely ignored!
Season two had some really well-animated fight scenes, if you're into that. But a lot of the real character development and worldbuilding occurred in season one. There's really not that much you'd be missing if you just skipped to the Pheles arc, whose exact episode number escapes me at this moment.
deviantArt | TwitterIf you didn't like the first season, it's safe to assume that it's not the series for you
Wow. Something actually happened this episode. I am legitimately surprised.
I felt Margery's scene was a bit over the top though.
Fear the Gothilolions! | Anime listI think the light novel series ended recently. I can't be absolutely sure though. That would mean that they'd be able to do the same ending as the novels.

Dost Thou Desire the Power ... Glove? It's so bad.It did. And the writer helped with this season. I expect the endings will be similar

I heard a lot about this show, but, at least as far as I know, the fact that the main love interest is a loli kinda disorients me. I'm sure that there's more to it, but I feel a bit reluctant. :/
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. Not loli, pettanko
Shakugan No Shana
So, first episode of the last anime series is out. Thoughts?
