I mean, the people who like what type of books will like it?
Likes many underrated webcomicsDo you like your fantasy deconstructive, but not too cynical? Do you like cool, complex, unconventional magic systems? Do you like Action Girl protagonists? Do you like revolutions (both the actual work and the implications thereof) as central to the plot?
If the answer to all or most of the above is "yes", you'll probably like Mistborn.
I'm indifferent to action girls, but the first two sold me. I'm gonna down— er, go acquire these books by completely legitimate means.

Likes many underrated webcomicsI just finished The Final Empire, and holy shit, it's one of the best books I've read in a long time. I can't possibly recommend it enough.
Likes many underrated webcomicsWait till you get to the third book.
Nah, I'm taking a break for now. I don't know exactly how much, since I read it on a Kindle, but The Final Empire is long.
Likes many underrated webcomics647 pages paperback. The next two are even longer of course. The Well of Ascension at 781 and The Hero of Ages at 748.
So everyone, which characters are your favourites? In all Brandon Sanderson books, I'd say Lightsong, but since this is just Mistborn, then my favourite is Breeze and my second-favourite is TenSoon.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"Well, from the Final Empire alone, I'd say Kelsier.
Likes many underrated webcomicsRecently finished the original Mistborn Trilogy. It's weird. I found it a very comfy series to read, and I enjoyed most of the characters. Vin especially is so adorable I can almost imagine her turning chibi like an anime character during certain interactions.
But I'm not sure there were as many standout epic scenes as I was expecting. I certainly wasn't big on the endings of books 2 and 3.
I've mentioned it elsewhere, I respect the hell out of the ending of book 3 and find it really clever, but I didn't find it particularly fun to read. If that makes sense.
Kaze ni Nare!
I certainly enjoyed them a bunch. Not really sure what you mean by public though.
