One of the most exciting quarterbacks of the decade is a third-string quarterback on America's worst sports franchise. They don't deserve to be happy. In this episode of Breaking Madden, Robert Griffin III plays defensive end for all 16 of Washington's opponents. This is the quest for 0-16.

Fun fact: The 49ers were only six points away from going 0-16 in their 2004 season.

Putting that aside, I really fucking hope Jed York gets Lou Gehrig's disease. He is running this franchise into the ground. We're going between 1-15 and 4-12 for the foreseeable future.

[down] Added the reference. I don't hope something that bad on him.

so in the last 2 years the Jags have managed to lose to teams quarterbacked by Charlie Whitehurst and a 40 year old Matt Hasselbeck.

I don't even care if they beat the Bucs next week with Jameis Winston coming off of a 4 INT game. Fire everyone and tank for whatever major prospect there is, I don't care anymore.

Well done NFL. September was the first month in over 6 years no player has been arrested.

Alright, that's it. We're buried. Send Chip's ass back to Oregon or Hell, whichever's closer, and start thinking future QB. I'll put my money behind Hackenburg. Guy can at least take a beating, which helps.

Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward!

I've been thinking about Hackenberg, actually. I wouldn't trust him to start immediately; I'd put him behind a proven quarterback to learn for a while-the Cardinals would do pretty well there.

Anyone want to be a Jaguars' kicker? I've heard they're likely to be hiring.

Well, apparently yesterday was officially the single worst day for NFL kickers in the last decade. There was some disbelief after the Patriots made Stephen Gostkowski the highest payed kicker in the league: right now, a reliable kicker looks to be worth half again what they paid him.

All that talent and we still can't beat a team led by Kirk Cousins and without De Sean Jackson.

We.look.like.shit.

Maybe Chip needs to give player personnel control back, cause his teams sure look like shit now that he's got control. Say what you will about Howie Roseman, but at least the guy knew how to draft good talent. Or maybe it's fact you have shit on your offensive line.

There are times I really hate that I support the one team in the division with no success in the Super Bowl era. This is one of them.

It really cannot be stressed enough how disastrous Seattle's offense would be without Wilson.

The Seahawks almost gave me a heart attack out there. The fumbles truly giveth with one hand, and with the other they taketh away.

Apparently what KJ Wright did was illegal.

Rule 12, Article 8, Section B: Illegal Bat: A player may not bat or punch (a) a lose ball (in field of play) towards opponent's goal line (b) loose ball (that has touched the ground) in any direction, if it's in either endzone (c) A backward pass in flight may not be batted forward by an offensive player

Just what the NFL needed to distract people from Deflategate: The Seahawks winning a MNF game on a controversial no-call.

To me that looks like a rule that needs to be changed. It's a non-call, true, but there was also no Detroit player in a position to make a recovery for a TD so I don't think it would have affected the result. I think there needs to be an aspect which says that a player cannot bat the ball in the end zone if it would stop another player from recovering it. Otherwise, just get that ball dead and lets move on to the next play.

Dammit Hawks! They did their best Washington State University impression out there, giving away a game that they had wrapped up.

Aaron Rodgers proves he is mortal after all, reaches the end of his interception-free streak at Lambeau Field.

Bortles doesn't deserve to lose on a career day with 4 T Ds but the defense and Corey Grant thought otherwise.

Well, maybe when Fowler's in action next year and they draft Bosa/Nkemdiche/Hargreaves, we'll see how they do.

Just be glad Millen's not the GM; then, the last five draft picks would have been wide receivers, one of whom would be awesome and the other four bombs.

the Jags GM before this one was probably on par with Millen; he drafted Gabbert, was responsible for the punter in the third round, drafted Tyson Alualu over Earl Thomas, drafted Derrick Harvey with an 8th overall pick.

The jury's out on Caldwell, but Joeckel isn't looking like a good pick(he has looked better than last year though) and Marqise Lee has been constantly injured.
