Hallelujah, the Cowboys are out of the playoffs. Time for them to go back to their irrelevance for the next five years. There's absolutely no way the De Marco Murray sustains that type of production next year, not with the workload they were putting on him.

Funny though, if the Cowboys complain that they were screwed by the refs this game (which they weren't, there's a rule called completing the process (which stung the Lions a few years ago)), they'll conveniently fail to remember they were helped last week.

Edit: Seems like all that spending on defense and free agents has done naught for the Broncos, as they lose to the Colts 24-13. Our NFC championship was set earlier today, with the Packers taking on Seattle at the C Link, while our AFC championship will be an old favorite with new faces, as Andrew Luck and the Colts take on Tom Brady and the Patriots in Foxborough.

I'm not sure why there is any controversy at all in regards to that Dez Bryant play. It was a very obvious incompletion, and anyone who says otherwise isn't familiar with the rulebook. Then again, I suppose very few people are familiar with the rulebook considering some of the complaints I've heard in the past.

"they'll conveniently fail to remember they were helped last week."

Exactly. We must also ignore that there were 10 plays the Cowboys sent to the NFL for review, and the league admitted that 7 were missed calls that should have penalized the Lions.

Anyway, 0% for my predictions now as the Cowboys have lost as well. The champions to defend their er, championship, I guess.

I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.

Cowboys still have a boss o-line so they may end up not going 8-8 next year.

Yeah, honestly Murray wasn't that big a part of the Cowboys running game this year despite getting all the carries. The overwhelming majority of his rushing yards came before initial contact because the line was opening up huge holes for him.

The Patriots' offense: 11 identical clones of Tom Brady. The Colts' defense: 11 enormous superhumans who have never seen a football game. In this episode of Breaking Madden, Touchdown Tom is in for the fight of his life.

Stopped watching the Seahawks-Packers game after that trainwreck first quarter. Came back to watch overtime. No goddamn clue how they pulled that one off.

I feel sick. The Packers had the game in hand and they just completely choked. I'm not sure I can bring myself to watch the Super Bowl, much less the AFC Championship game.

I can't tell if the Packers forgot how to play in the last two minutes or if the Seahawks remembered how to.

Unbelievable. I feel like I need to watch this game again to prove to myself that it happened.

That was incredibly improbable. I haven't seen a comeback quite like that before. I'm honestly not quite sure how that happened.

^^ a little of column a, a little of column b

I'm glad I'm not a Packers fan or else I'd be actually upset instead of slightly annoyed at Pete Carroll's face.

That game yesterday is aptly described as "The worst 56 minutes of Russell Wilson's career, followed by the 4+ best". Still shocked the Pack blew as big of a lead as they had.

So Super Bowl XLIX is set. New England vs. Seattle. Will Wilson and the Seahawks collect the first back to back Super Bowls since Brady and the Patriots, or will those same Patriots collect their fourth title after a decade of "So close, but not quite?"

It turns out 11 out of 12 footballs the Patriots use were under-inflated.

I started my second game of Dn D today and made a high elf wizard based on Tom Brady. He is very handsome when angry and ended up putting the team on his back in the fourth quarter by taking out 6 kobolds, one of which with a 100 ft hail mary longbow shot, before they could run away and tell their superiors about the hidden tunnel into the keep.

He then cursed out his team mates for not doing their jobs.

@AdamSchefter: Browns WR Josh Gordon flunked another drug test and now will be subject to a one-year banishment, per league sources. More on ESPN @ 6 pm.

Now he's just doing this on purpose.

If I'm the GM of the Browns, I think this is the point where I cut my losses.

Patriots summon the Elder Gods to aid their game, they invade reality, the Seahawks turn their players into cyborg mecha to fight the beings of the Mythos, Legion of Boom perform a ritual that banishes Azathoth forever, Seahawks win in overtime.

Also, Seahawks will be lost to the Warp in postgame, but may occasionally return to the Materium in an aura of holy fire to lead new teams to victory for centuries to come.
