She's Amazonian. The closest thing to that would be Greek. Oh, hey Greek accent.

[up]Yeah, they actually just made her race apparent rather than just making Greek="White." They even use Athenian art styles for her design.

To be fair, I would have mistaken Wonder Girl for Latina if I didn't know she was an Amazon. I've never heard a Greek accent (at least I don't think I have) before now, so I wouldn't know. At best, I would have thought she was Italian.

Wonder Girl's character design reminds me a lot of those for Disney's Hercules.

I just realized that this Supergirl reminds me more of Power Girl.

Actually Donna Troy was an American orphan adopted by the Amazons. When she wasn't a split-off self of Wonder Woman (it's convoluted.) The fact is she never sounded or looked particularly Greek. Then again Supergirl was never chubby and Barbara Gordon never skinny, so it doesn't really matter.

That was my point, they took a Greek character who was never Greek and "greeked her up" a bit. Not a Race Lift, more of a racial touchup.

Seriously , I hate it when fans do this but, this is MY Wonder Girl.

They probably turned her into real Wonder Woman sister in this version.

I think Hollywood is getting way to overboard with their "short" short run time.

[up]Well they are showing these in between commercials for the normal DC Nation shows so they kinda have to be short.

[up]... oh. THAT'S why. I thought they would all be compiled into a 11-minute episode, like MAD.

With any luck, hopefully some of the more popular ones may be made into actual series.

Huh, the SBFF shorts do not have a connected storyline like everyone was expecting. How often do they air by the way? Also does anyone know where I can watch all of the Teen Titans shorts? Youtube online has the 9th one from what I can gather.

As cool as the scarab armor looks in live action, that was seriously underwhelming. Why not, instead of showing the before and after, actually show Jaime in action?

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

SBFF: Poor Commisioner Gordon looks like he's all around through with life there.

I did like the SBFF short, though, and Superman of Tokyo was...um...interesting? It seemed like the joke was just "Superman's in Japan and he's a baby. FLETCHER-STYLE!" Which is, y'know, nice, but kinda...eh. I dunno. Plus those three villains guys looked really stereotypical. "I could use some superpowers" and Superbaby spitting the bullet at those three villains was kinda funny, though.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

I hope we see more of the mom and the nanny in further shorts.

SBFF was amusing but I didn't know we wouldn't get a resolution to the Invisible Jet theft. Which probably means we won't get a resolution to this one either.

And the Superman In Tokyo was.................................... there?

Looks like there will be at least one short focusing on the problems each of the SBFF have according to Lauren. Already we had Wonder Girl trying to be perfect and failing, and now Batgirl having trouble sneaking out to be a hero. So next up should be Supergirl dealing with Superman being more popular than her. Should be fun.

Barbara as a Genki Girl is really, really funny to me.
