Yeah, it's absolutely disgusting how they are treating everyone.
Shit wouldn't be so bad if they just gave everyone a reason.
Even worse, they act as if they're celebrating it. "Hey kids! New episodes in January!"
Way to miss the toy selling Christmas season. Major kiss of death there.

This might shed some light.

Someone also commented with this:
He said that whenever comedic cartoons, such as “Adventure Time” are the most popular (like now), CN pulls the plug on their action shows (and vice versa when action shows are more popular).
What they do is pull the show off air for a few months, & then return it to the air without announcing or promoting it. Naturally, the viewers will have dropped off (no one knew it was coming back). CN then uses this rationale to drop the shows completely: “Well, we brought it back, but no one was watching.”
That’s exactly what they did to the new He-Man show back in 2003/2004. That’s exactly what they did to “Thundercats” last year.
And this is exactly what is going on with the DC Nation block right now."

Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...That seems unlikely.
Thundercats were pulling bad ratings, anyway.
I've kept up with Thunder Cats ratings since it premiered. The Toonzone forums have the numbers recorded. It's usually did well when compared to Young Justice and Green Lantern's ratings, especially considering the time slot and lack of promotion, and it so far has been doing well on Toonami. Any time it's ratings could be considered bad, Young Justice and Green Lantern also suffered in the ratings as well. I don't know where people have been getting the idea that it got poor ratings, at least in regards to the episodes that aired Saturday mornings. That sounds like some rumor with little more to back it up than "It got canceled, therefore it must have had bad ratings."
This is about DC Nation though. I happened to find this because I was looking for TC stuff. I posted here because there's a chance it could be true and it could apply to the DC Nation block.

Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...Well, while it was obvious from prior repeats that was the case, it's nice to have some confirmation.
There really should be some sort of way to punish executives when they pull such underhanded trickery.
I just send CN feedback with this:
www.cartoonnetwork.com/feedback/
I don't know how much they listen to messages from this, but it couldn't hurt. Seems the most direct way of letting them know how displeased I am.

Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...Well, I put in my feedback...
I know it won't matter, but hey, its what little I can do.
That rational makes no sense. Why not make sure that the action shows and comedies are successful so you can appeal to a broader demographic?

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. You are implying that Snyder has a quarter of a brain between his ears.
Donate money to Skullgirls, get a sweet poster. Is that guy really still in charge?
The only logic I could see in it is they want to get rid of one type of show in order to make more room in their schedule for the other. That, and possibly the create a more consistent image for the network. Which of course I think is wrong.
I do take this with a big grain of salt, it's just that after seeing all the weird nonsense a network will pull, it wouldn't surprise me if it's true.
Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...The identity thing would make more sense if Snyder's entire tenure hadn't been defined by trying to strip the network of it's identity and include live action shows.
Hey gang, let's copy the least successful bits of Disney Channel.
What could possibly go wrong?
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."If that's so, then why spend the resources to develop the shows in the first place? That makes less than no sense.
Again, Snyder.
Donate money to Skullgirls, get a sweet poster.Okay, so we're at least a week further and no-one has considered making a You Tube video about it? I mean, it all just seems so internal, only within the various smaller sites about DC Comics, animation or comics in general, and of course some other sites like TV Tropes, which, I assume, not a majority of viewers will see. You Tube is still a good way to get stuff across.
Signatures are for lamers.Volpe is still make storms in his twitter and tumblr.
Today, for example, he wrote an entire episode tongue-in-cheek on his twitter.
You should check it out
I'm not sure if anyone else is aware of this, but Cartoon Network has been putting new Teen Titans shorts on their Youtube channel to fill in the void for Saturday morning.
Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.And I can't see them.

@hcobb Funny you mention Disney; killing off their action shows on XD for comedy? It's a bit of a generalization but I thought it was supposed to be a channel aimed for guys, so wouldn't action cartoons draw them in?
