I'm hoping character development will mean it will turn out better this time.
Or at least that he will be able to protect his sister.
Though yes, I'm interested to see what will happen when he is accompanied by an immortal who wishes to kill him.
It's obvious that while she could find an indirect way out of that order (like a way to blackmail Eiji into removing the order) but it's equally possible that she will come to not want to kill him... quite so badly.
Let's do a side-by-side comparison, shall we?
In Mirai Nikki, a mysterious godlike being bestows upon the protagonist and various other cast members a special power personalised to each of them. The protagonist is forced to use his power against the others...one of whom is a girl he likes.
In Big Order, a mysterious godlike being bestows upon the protagonist and various other cast members a special power personalised to each of them. The protagonist is forced to use his power against the others...one of whom is a girl he likes.
So original.
Deriding the premise? That's sooo last page! =P
But seriously I'm actually enjoying this more than Mirai Nikki so far.
Maybe it's because things really feel like they are happening at the moment (which could cause pacing problems later) but as usual I remain optimistic.
I would like to see more characterisation though.

The Godlike being in Big Order is Minene's daughter
Edit BTW: Epic Chapter. That's how you do it: Dominate your opponent's mind and soul and use them against others.

...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuWell, it's okayishly interesting so far. The premise sure has potential.
Hoshimiya=Yukiteru?
"Even if I have to stop time, I still want to protect that person." Wow, that sounds familiar
Eiji and Sena are Not Blood Siblings, eh?

I dun get it? :(
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura Chifuyu"Ice" Geass?
Anyway, this manga has started to keep me interested by witholding informaiton until the next chapter.
Why does it need to do that? It had me at "Anti-Hero with Power of command VS Other Superheroes and an immortal of ambiguous allegiance and morals".

@Hylarn: Not entirely sure what you're referring to. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, maybe?
Anyway, I find this dynamic even more incredible than Yuno and Yuki...how does Esuno come up with crazy hot female protagonists like this? And because I'm an asshole, I also find it hilarious that because Rin is immortal, her attempts to kill Eiji can backfire spectacularly without ending the series.
(Luring him into the air vent was a good plan though. Did Eiji's power subconsciously protect him somehow, or was Rin just hilariously unlucky?)

I wonder, since Rin's powers of regeneration works on non-living things like knives, would she be able to heal Sena?
She may not be able to heal others because of the way her wish worked.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.Didn't she heal Sena in the first chapter after stabbing her? Though I suppose the question still remains open about whether she can heal chronic illnesses.
Or if her problem is a birth defect or something since it seems she was handicapped even before he got his power unless I'm remembering incorrectly.
I should reread these chapters it's been a while so it's hard for me to remember everything.

A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.I guess Rin Kurenai's powers can only restore others, even though they appear to be full blown regeneration powers when applied to her.
Was Sena in hospital to begin with, and then injured when Eji too over the world as well? I think it was something like that.
Hopefully the next chapter will give us more details.
I admit, I got a dark chuckle out of Rin's attempts to kill Eiji.
I feel sorry for the kid though. He just wants to help his sister, but a mistake he made years ago is literally burying that hope.
I'm wondering how things will work out for him.
Also, Rin vs Yuuno. No powers at all (so no order abilities for Rin, and no Diary for Yuuno). Which girl's unique brand of crazy comes out on top?

One Strip! One Strip!LOLZ... Bouncing Bullet ploy failed.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuSo I wonder why those people are letting them escape. Was this all just a test?
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.If I may ask, what's the general consensus on this manga? 'Cuz I'm watching Mirai Nikki right now and it's pretty fukken sweet.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialWell it's three chapters in right now so making accurate predictions with this much information can be difficult, but thus far it has an interesting premise and characters so I foresee myself enjoying it.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.Personally I'm enjoying this series more than Mirai Nikki.
The mechanics seem better defined, and the main character seems more interesting.
Yeah thus far this guy is much more heroic and a lot less broken. Then again he has years of self hatred and the knowledge of what he did to harden his resolve.
The other kid just got shit shoved on him.
A friend is someone you trust to help you move. A best friend is someone you trust to hide the body.(spoilers ahead, but they would be First-Episode Spoiler if there were more than three chapters)
More like "he thought he did." He originaly does not clearly remember his "wish" and there is some evidence that his wish was only the catalyst, and not the cause, of destruction around the world.

Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!
I'm not sure what happened near the end. It's seems like after he ordered her not to hurt him or his sister, he did something else by accident before she asked if staying near him would give another chance to kill him but it's not quite clear.
Also, now that it's clear he can control even inanimate objects within his order, I'm beginning to understand how he wrecked the world, and also why his powers needed to be nerfed.
One Strip! One Strip!
