One Piece: Kaizoku Musou (Pirate Warriors)

Revealed at TGS, though I only found out about it recently. A video game adaptation of One Piece done by the makers of Dynasty Warriors? Sounds pretty boss, especially with this nice bit of info.

Nooooo freaking way! That's epic!

Of course the chances of it making its' way over here are slim to nil considering how badly One Piece games and "Fist Of The North Star Musou" sold.

If it does, I will literally shit myself. Even if it turns out to be really bad, I will play that until my fingers bleed, or something equally gross.

I semi-like One Piece so I'm kinda interested in this. We're getting this overseas, right?

Although just one thing I noticed: it looks like Luffy was taking out all of those Kumabots, which he really shouldn't be able to do.

Well, it also had Ace attacking Akainu head-on, and we know that would not end well, because it didn't.

Of course, they didn't show the outcome.

Even if this doesn't come out over here, I'll just import it.

I think Luffy's beating the Pacifista just because it makes for the perfect kind of Elite Mook in gameplay terms for a game like this. Luffy has to fight massive hordes of mooks, fighting a massive horde of Pacifista would be a lot more interesting even if it doesn't make sense.

...if it were post-timeskip, it would make perfect sense.

Good thing I got a PS 3 instead of a 360.

And good thing I have every current system except the PSP and thus never get screwed over because of something like that.

I was unsure whether to get Ps3 or 360 at the start of this year, and only chose Ps3 because of the deal I got on it. Now their is the Ps3 exclusive Bleach game and this coming out, I'm so happy I went with Ps3 :D

EPIC Necro, but with a purpose. After months of nothing, we've finally got some reliable info:

• Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji are cofirmed playable characters.
• Buggy is a confirmed boss character.
• Gameplay will be split into 2 parts: Adventure Stages and Musou Stages.
• JP release date is March 1, 2012.

Several gameplay vids have popped up over the last few days. This is easily the best.

First, what you guys might not see is that the game is a lot more combo-heavy than Koei's other works. There are certain combos that can be started with Triangle instead of Square, and some that require alternating between both. I've even heard rumors of some combos changing by holding Square or Triangle at certain points. Koei trying to add depth into their gameplay? Unheard of!

Second, the game actually has both boss battles (btw, nice entrance there Kuma) and QT Es (no penalty from what I'm seeing).

So, yeah. More to actually talk about now.

Oh good, there are multiple playable characters. If this doesn't hit the US, I'm definitely importing it. After I sell a kidney.
