I stand corrected. My apologies.
Speaking of Frozen, I don't know why, but part of me expects "Let It Go" to appear on his best list. Technically speaking, it was a hit in 2014.
Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.Todd claimed on Twitter that he considered it worse than "Reindeers Are Better Than People" on Twitter. His reasoning being that the song sounds too hopeful to be ironic even though it's meant to be ironic in context. He also said before that he was uncertain about reviewing it because much of its chart-topping success may have been dependent on Frozen itself (which he liked, the film that is.)
Forget "Let it Go," I figure "Hanging Tree" will get on his list, with him bemoaning that he has to settle for a soundtrack song to find any interesting music this year.
For Trumpets, I have to assume everyone has thought of this joke already but my main thought was to just take one of those "Is it weird...?" questions and just answer saying "Yes, Jason. That is weird."
"Trumpets" is actually my favourite Jason Derulo song, which here means that I hate it the least. I think the trumpet hook by itself is pretty good, but it doesn't fit to the song at all. Sort of like how Train's "50 Ways to Say Goodbye" tried to hammer in the Mariachi bits that just didn't fit.
I expect Let It Go to at least hit the honorable mentions.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Has he ever had an honorable mention that didn't hit the Top 40?
I think that's against the rules he sets himself.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver! No it needs to be either in the top 20 or on the year end list.

He listed a few songs in his best of 2010 List that could have made the list but weren't popular enough. Though they were not covered any more thoroughly than just a quick flash of the list on the screen.
One thing I don't quite understand is why Skyfall didn't make it in 2012. It did meet the other criterion, as it charted in the Top 20 during the year, but not year-end.

I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!I heard it on the radio for the first time today and noticed that right off the bat. At first I thought I was hearing a mariachi remix or something, and then the chorus kicks in and I get run over by a Train. >_> To think that I was actually okay with the bits of the song I heard in the review...
but HOW?I like "Hey, Soul Sister" and I was still WTF at "50 Ways to Say Goodbye".
Also, Todd will be at Midwest Media Expo. That escalated fast; last year, only Linkara was there, and this year, seemingly half of Channel Awesome will be there. (Even Lindsey, although she left the site... wonder if she's there only because Todd is?)
It sure is weird that she left the site with that video of hers that appeared literally today.
Technically she hasn't left yet. She won't be leaving CA for good until May.
...who cheated on Ed Sheeren with a member of One Direction (I can't remember if the arrow was pointing at Harry Styles or Niall Horan.)?
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!According to this article, it's Ellie Goulding who ended up with Niall Horan from One Direction.
Oh. I would've bet on Harry Styles, as his romantic dalliances are normally the most prolific. I mean, he's on Taylor Swift's long list of ex-lovers who'll tell you she's insane.
Anyway, now that we've seen the bottom five of this top ten, predictions for the top five?
Todd did comment in his last video that he liked "Blank Space", so that might be up there.
Counting Stars will probably be in there, also Team, Uptown Funk, Rather Be, maybe Steal My Girl or Chandelier.
It was fun to see Katy Perry on the list again.
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.Called it!
I'd like to talk about how I like Indy songs and stuff and that was true for a while, but now my exposure to music is mostly children's songs you know what is stuck in my head at the moment "Down by the banks of the Hanky Panky/where the bullfrogs jump from bank to banky/ with a splish splash kerplop(!)" there might be some more onomatopoeias but it is pretty much just that, than the game starts again (it's part of a game similar to "Stella, stella, olla") though to be fair I have part of the Frozen soundtrack in my head too, if for the same reasons.
