Anyone have some comments on these?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I think I like the first one better.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe first one is a better illustration of true passive-aggressive combat — all the nastiness in the first speech bubble is purely implication.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Yeah, I agree with that. If a few more comments support it, we can just put it up (and thus avoid making an image picking backlog).
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It'll be an hour or so before I can look at the links, but I trust everyone's judgment, so count me as a tentative +1 vote for that first pic.

That works great.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickLet's use the witch one. The second one crops like crap.

Well I would have done a bit better, but the first one works on its own.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The witch one, definitely.
Well we might have a consensus already. Any caption suggestions?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid."Stealth bitches in action."
"Ouch, burn."
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. Dick"And I see you got the Queen of Hearts character down."?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid."Someone get that lady a saucer of milk."
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.We're going with the witch one, not the cat one.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickIt's still a catty remark.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it."Looks like the verbal claws are out" (applies to either pic, but it's for the costume one).

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Or "Katy wins! Insinuatality!" (as the Trope Namer work also played with those terms from the games).
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I think the Kombat thing needs to die in a fire. It really just confuses what this trope is supposed to be about and it's causing the trope to stagnate. It hasn't picked up more than a couple of wiks since the last time it was in TRS. I'm vetoing adding any more of it to the page.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickNevermind, doesn't work as well as I thought...

You can vote against something, but veto powers require some actual position that grants it. Not sure even the mods can go that far. Just the admins.
Not that your comments about the name hurting the wicks are invalid.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I didn't mean official veto, more of, please don't let that be an option. The name really needs a trip through the TRS when it gets unlocked.
"Looks like the verbal claws are out" is probably my favourite of the suggested captions.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThink we should have a crowner for the caption?

Found these while web surfing. They're from the Archie Comics series Katy Keene. And since catty put-downs can count for this trope, I thought either of these would work well.
Costume party.
Meeting on the street.
The second has more text (and the title splashed over it), but the look on their faces shows the "passive" part better. On the other hand, the first is much easier to crop out.
