4 and 5 would work yeah, although maybe we can find one with a bit more extreme context.
If not I am fine with that
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!No, Dork Tower isn't normally a single panel cartoon. Sometimes the artist does do single panels, but I'm pretty sure that one isn't. There's no real joke aside from the headbanging. (Which, admittedly, is humorous on its own.)
So I see no need to change it.
Don't take life too seriously. It's only a temporary situation.Got a link to the strip to see that it's not a single panel?
Anyway still greatly prefer the one there, just banging your head on a desk for the lutz isnt the trope it's something so stupid your speechless then you slam your head into a desk or wall.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Gotta lean toward Raso on this; the current pic really doesn't have any context and the blank expression doesn't help either. There's actually another Ma3 strip on the page that does this, but I haven't read that far yet.

The "Yuki's not a lesbian" Ma3 is much better then the other Ma3 one. And it's an excellent illustration of the trope.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Very meh on all of those, honestly.
The original multi-panel strip.
This space for rent. Cost: your soul.As a page image I like the one in the OP much much better.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!OP's 4&5 works.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanI think we can get away without the dialog - the Visible Silence is enough context in my opinion.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanI'm not sure which would be better, with the context panel or without.

I like it with, just for comedies sake.
Fight smart, not fair.Technically, not having sex with men could just mean you're asexual, or are straight/bisexual but for whatever reason don't do sex* .

That's true, but it really doesn't have anything to do whether or not it illustrates the trope. Which it does.
Reaction Image RepositoryJust the last panel would do.
For demonstrating the action, definitely, but I think it needs the other panel for context.
Crowner's hooked. Vote away!
Bump for votes; as of right now:
- Menage A 3 strip, panels 3 - 5 (see post #12): 5 (yeas:7 nays:2) 3.50 : 1
- Ma3 strip, panels 4 + 5: 3 (yeas:5 nays:2) 2.50 : 1
The others are in the red.
We're done here. The new pic is up, potholed, and tagged; locking up.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
If I'm not mistaken, the current pic on Headdesk is a single panel cartoon, which is verboten per our copyright guidelines. I suggest replacing it with panels 4 and 5 of this Menage A 3 strip, or 3-5 arranged vertically to give context.
