I don't know, I really like the current one. She's headed towards "Death", and there's obvious signs for what she should be doing. It's funny, it's understood at a glance, and it's also hanging a lampshade on it. I think it's a great image.

That picture is a fake photo. Kinda weak.
I like the current one also. It is pretty dumb to be turning right when the signs say that.

While some of them are decent, I don't think any of the suggestions would improve the page noticeable.
I say keep the old one. It's a good picture.
Edit:
The idea that the signs could lie seems more like a Fridge Logic guess than anything else. Something that clear just screams parody if anything, in which case it's far more likely to be as literal as it appears.
