I support clearing them out, but I have no idea how you'd determine what's a correct usage and what isn't.
Most of them just read like people trying to be more clever than one another in their comparisons. For instance, there are five separate X Meets Y entries on Adventure Time.
Or could we just mark it as YMMV since the comparisons are so subjective?

YMMV makes sense if they're subjective.

Yeah, make them YMMV should do it, or Just for Fun. As long as removing them in the Main Page does it.

Most of them really are either Fan Myopia or just misguided tropes.
For instance, Digimon Adventure entry is "Pokemon meets Shōnen", which implies that Pokemon didn't have shonen atrributes at all.
