Er, hello? I'm kinda new to soccer, and I've really enjoyed the game I've been to recently. It was fun as all hell. It felt a little like Rocky Horror, in that the actual game was mostly an excuse for the audience to go WILD (in a controlled and socially acceptable way: would you BELIEVE they didn't sell any alcohol anywhere near or within the stadium? not even beer?). I dunno, I really loved the feeling of being part of the bunch, of fitting in. I want to try it some more. But for that, I'd need to know and understand more about soccer.
But... shouldn't this conversation go under Live Performance?
An action is not virtuous merely because it is unpleasant to do.Nah, there's been football threads here before. We don't have a "Sport" forum, so here tends to suffice for sporting threads.
My name is Addy. Please call me that instead of my username. Also, should we agree that, from now on, "football", "fĂștbol", and "soccer" will all mean "that game what Maradona and King PelĂ© played" and not "that game where players dance the Single Ladies"? In the context of this thread, I mean. That little Take That! wasn't meant to be mean-spirited, it was just a friendly nudge: American Football fans, please do not take offense
