This is my first time starting a discussion on image pickin, so if I make a mistake, forgive me.

Anyway, I think the image relies too much on the caption since I didn't know that as a kkk suit, until I read the caption, can anyone find an image that is more indicative and doesn't rely too much on the caption?

I am neutral on this one.

I don't think this relies too much on the caption, but if there's a version out there without the motion blur I'd support swapping them.

I like it...the only potential issue is that some people might gripe about the white shirt being behind the text on the screen, making it a little hard to read.

I agree, it's a good example, but the text is too small for people to get how the image fits the trope for first-time readers

Can we get a different shot from that scene where the text is a little clearer?

What's the difference between this and Boomerang Bigot? It seems to me that this trope is about secretly, maybe even unknowingly being what you hate.

I think this needs a two-picture arrangement. A guy shouting homophobic slurs in one panel, then kissing another guy in the second, or something like that.

I like the current pic but I wish it was made clear the hood that is in his hand.

I don't mind the replacement image. Honestly, did any of you have trouble reading it? Even if you did does no one else have a magnify key? I don't see a problem with the current image either, if there was an issue to be had its might be confusion with boomerang bigot.

You are what you hate is someone who either A)hides what they are, or B) does not know, A before shot in his hood could help. Rip it from youtube.
