I think the Daffy ones are along the right lines, though I feel like it should be an actual hand rather than just a drawing.
This needs to be really clear and concise. There shouldn't be anything that is a spoiler (such as the ending to Earthbound, seriously guys....), unclear (such as Homestruck or the giant hand), or one that is going to confuse people and make them think this is a different trope.
Also, we should avoid pictures of people being sucked into other worlds. For example, Monster Rancher features a boy who gets sucked through a TV
◊ (It is ambiguous as to if he enters the game). The image would make a good one for a trope about getting sucked into a TV show or other work, but it doesn't fit here. We need something where an author or viewer specifically interacts with the story itself.
