That scene with the bare tits had DAMN well better be in 3D if they are making this movie have 3D.
WIN!
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.Hell. YES. The last time I watched this was in one of those extremely tiny car-attached video player and I'm glad that I would get to watch the movie in theatre.

Pages Needing ImagesReally what is this going to bring to the field of film? Anything, anything at all? Gahh I hate all these unnecessary 3-D conversions.
Well except Lion King...that may actually be okay.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans. You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.
syvaris: it could bring 3D tits to the world of film. And that's brilliant.
I'm starting to think that James Cameron is actively targeting the box office records. At this rate he's never going to be beaten. Ever.
Oh yes he will...by himself. Seriously, he's like Usain Bolt of Box Office ranking.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. He'll speed through the first 70 and taunt you for the last 30.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Most films from past 2003 consider it an absolute miracle to past 1 billion dollars mark. Titanic grossed 1.8 billions in 1997, which adjusted to inflation to now, is something around 2.1 at very least. There were some movie box office analysists who predicted that such figure was impossible and it will never beaten again...cue to 2009 when Avatar slaps the box office in the face with its 2.7 billion dollars.
Gotta give it to that man on that regard, yo.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. And we still have two sequels to add to that "gross"....

You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.Piranha already did that...which is ironic 'cause James Cameron hates that movie.
I didn't much enjoy the film in 2D, and I'm not sure I will in 3D.
The only real issue I have with this is that Titanic is not a movie that would really benefit from 3D. A rerelease yes, due to the anniversary (better than the animated ones) but not 3D. It's a love story, albeit, one with a very flashy climax, but it is still a love story.
Not Three Laws compliant.Fuck THOSE are what need 3D releases. I would watch the shit out of 3D versions of the animated Titanic movies.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.IT'S PARTY TIME...IN 3D!
Pages Needing ImagesWhat have I wrought!?
Not Three Laws compliant. Its "magical moon beams striking you tears"....IN 3D!
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans. What do you mean, "Titanic is not a movie that would really benefit from 3D"? The whole sinking sequence would be awesome, not to mention all the panoramic fly overs of the ship.
Don't forget 3-D boobs, 3-D water and 3-D "I'm king of the world!".
And James Horner's score along with the crashing of the water and the ship would benefit from a Dolby Surround 7.1 mix (assuming that Paramount creates a new sound mix, they have a good source from the DTS 70mm sound mix).

It's true. The movie is being re-released partly because it's the 100th year anniversary of the ship's maiden voyage/disaster. I know this movie is a mild case of Love It or Hate It, but I'm excited to see it because 1) I love this movie and 2) I was only 6 when it came out so I never saw it in theaters, and I bet it'll be a hell of a better experience seeing it at the movies than on tv.
