So I assume there will be 2 sets for R arc then we get on to the S arc.
At least they have a unique them instead of darkness ever stronger for two bad guy groups -_-

Mileena MadnessAnd there are still no subtitles for credits or song lyrics, but there are subtitles for signs that get read aloud anyway.
I'm still haunted by the Season 2 Negaverse theme, but I don't know how to feel about not-Night on Bald Mountain at the end of this arc. At least we get one episode of the awesome battle music for the gang that follows.
So, I just got around to watching the last Crystal episode and I have a question: did anyone else find the sudden introduction of those reaction cuts to be really annoying? I thought at best it induced a severe case of Mood Whiplash into what would have been otherwise somewhat serious or dramatic scenes.
Dost Thou Desire the Power ... Glove? It's so bad.Well I think it was in the manga so that's just the price of being faithful and hey it's pretty nuts to go from comic relief to death lol
Mileena MadnessWell you could argue that they should have been using those simpler, cartoony expressions before in order for it not to look out of place; and the impression from the manga is that, say, Mamoru got so shocked that even the panel fell over with stars and dots spinning around, but they didn't put in the motion to really show that, just a silly frame like the Dic show had.
PhysicalStamina, have you tried navigating to Hulu from various different pages? I thought maybe it didn't like when I hit a certain page directly too many times, but that was just a guess.
On the subject of music, I will defend the original dub for it's score. Queen Beryl's theme was much, much cooler there than the original, I feel.
Call My Name and I'll be There, My Only Love which fits very well in the context of the scene where the Moon Princess is revealed, Rainy Day Man, A New Day which is just awesome and also fits the scene just as well, perhaps even better, Carry On and She Got the Power are short to fit the compressed fights, but damn if they aren't kickass.
edit: Now that I'm watching season 2 Otome No Policy is burned into my psyche, I fear there's no cure.
edit edit: I'm sticking it out until an English track's released for Crystal, though I have seen half a dozen eps in sub with some difficulty. All I can remember about the new score is it's so dramatically hammy it's hilarious.

"No will to break."What about the new score Darkness Ever Stronger...
Mileena MadnessI'm finally getting to watch it directly from Viz's website.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Good idea! Gotta get hooked on that Automatic Polish Sheen.
Mizerous, were you talking about how the new anime's Black Moon Clan has to share theme music with the Dark Kingdom, while the old anime's Black Moon Clan had to share music with the Hell Tree aliens?
Yup and the opening is the same as well >_>
Mileena MadnessOh man, the pre-episode speech in episode 55 is golden. Usagi goes on and on about love and then just decides to punish some unnamed individual for no reason. It's perfect.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."I love Sheh's deliverance of her speeches. Those, if nothing else have got to be fun to record. All of the Senshi get like this, but Usagi in particular is dripping with ham.
"No will to break."I like how episode 48's speech was basically "I have no idea what's going on here, but I'm going to punish someone for this!"
This is still an awful English version of the theme song, though. Oh and the broken image there was "Everything is going to be daijoubu."◊ So I learned what "daijoubu" means!
Why do you call it the Negaverse Second Theme? Its the original Japanese OST and even if the Di C version had Allen And Ann know Beryl, Di C did eventually drop the Negaverse Farce.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Negaverse lol that cracks me up also they did not turn Hotaru into Hannah like all the other Murican names >_>
Mileena MadnessI was a little surprised it took until season 3 to start hearing that kickbutt violin music I recall from long ago, but now I totally see why they would showcase the violin at this point.
I also notice that Sailor Moon seems to get new entrance music every season, but it's always somewhere in the style of Mickey Mouse's.
Have you ever seen Mickey Mouse and Sailor Moon in the same place at the same time?
Hey, they do both have those two big round knobs on their heads!
Sad we only get to see her hair in different styles for two glorious minutes. That, and her adorable bonding time with Venus.
Sucks Venus arrives so late into the dramatic episodes, if anyone could have used a handful of slice of life characterization episodes, it's her. Though judging by how things are going so far, everybody's going to get at least a couple at some point or another.
"No will to break."See, now, this first part of Sailor Moon S makes me think they took what happened with the Silver Crystal in the first season as a sign that the good guys are using the bad guys as a MacGuffin Delivery Service for a change, since the Sailor Guardians can't really do this soul-extracting stuff themselves.
Moonlight Knight, seriously guys? Facepalming intensifies.
"No will to break."It was the filler arc.
Well, yes, but aside from that it's actually not too bad. Not quite filler either, at least for the anime continuity, with the memories thing. And as far as baddies go, I kinda like these guys, they've got more of a motivation than Beryl at any rate.
"No will to break."I'm confused why do people know about Beryl than the other villains in SM heck in Nostalgia Critic's video he only went into the first few arcs.
Mileena Madness
Aaaaand Hulu is still down. Guess I don't get to watch the new dubbed eps.
