What I really don't understand is why the four Generals, being there all at once, and apparently being less prone to backstabbing each other than they were in the first anime, don't just take the chance to strike the three Senshi (by that point Mamoru has just slipped away to hide) already. I mean, they have a whole building of hostages right under them, *and* the numbers edge, *and* they should have gathered a pattern of more and more Senshi appearing, so why not to rush them and be done with it before more of them come out?

I always wondered if the shittenou were good physical fighters.

There is a perfectly logical reason for that. You see...they're idiots? They don't want to dirty their nails? They hate the moon? It's another one of those genre staples that you just have to shake your head at.

I'm going to say the answer is all of them want to fight Mercury while no one wants to fight Mars.

Or perhaps theres just enough of their original personalities and memories in their back of their heads to prevent them from acting directly.

Beryl didn't tell them to pick a fight, so they left. And the senshi have a habit of magically gaining a new member just as they're cornered, so maybe the Dark Kingdom doesn't want to push it without collecting more information first. Or Mars scares the crap out of them.

In my head I explain it as that they want the honor of defeating them alone, but none of them charge forward because they know they can't defeat them alone.

Really?

Cause I'd think that the rest of them would believe Jaedite got beat cause he's a pussy and that they would fair better.

Right now the only one who would think he can't win on his own would be the one who got beat.

I do like the their past selves are influencing them theory as well.

I would assume the Tuxedo Mask has the same powers as Clark Kent's glasses.

Theirs nothing wrong with liking the old dub but I'm glad the redub is uncut and uncensored so we don't have to deal with cousins.

And Cousins don't have to deal with each other either.

Wow that's awesome. I didn't even know the original anime was being re-dubbed, about time.

I always thought that the thing with them being cousins and lesbians is sort of like a two wrongs make a right. I mean, wouldn't the main problem with incest be solved by them being the same sex?

What are you talking about?

It explained the location and identity of everyone in the dark kingdom from Metallia on down in the first episode. It's not too big a deal yet because I've seen the first season before, but what happens when I get to the stuff I haven't?

Plus, the rest is just annoying. For some reason they feel it important to explain how the author chose the names for Usagi's family members and the definition of "youma," but not the meaning of honorifics even though they decided to put them in the subtitles. Leave out the useless trivia and pick, are your watchers unfamiliar enough with Japanese culture to need help with the basics or not?

What subtitled version is this about? The new official subs that can be found on places like Hulu, or something else, such as a fansub?

It's a fansub of the original series by Nakama Sub. I wanted a torrent that had the original Japanese version of all the seasons in one spot, and that was the only one I could find.

You delete it, and download the series in parts somewhere else. From the sounds of it you'd get spoiled for season 5 before you got through the first season.
