Riiiight,I've made personal attacks and yet both you and he have neglected to point out which part of my posts were " personal".
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenIn honor of Sailor Moon Saturday◊
Even more heavy fail drawn scenes in episode 4 than episode 3.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenSo it looks like Jedite did survive. They seem to be planning to do more with the Generals than the manga did.
Rob's cool with that.
One Strip! One Strip!Wasn't a bad episode. Not a noteworthy one, but not a bad one.
There are some things Usagi can do without being the klutz she usually is. And dancing isn't easy.
The senshi of thunder introduced in a storm.
Yeah, I wonder where they're going with it. Although you should probably put spoilers on that.
Check out my fanfiction!Probably prolonging the death of Dark Kingdom generals so they're not disappointingly killed like in the manga.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenOn one hand, it rubs me the wrong way that this still isn't 100% faithful to the manga... one the other hand, yeah, I can't lie and say the manga handled its henchmen better than either anime adaptation did/is doing.
@Doctor Diabolical
Eh, the original anime handled the minions perfectly. It fit the messiah-image of Usagi to try converting some of them and the Sailor Senshi did badass jobs in their fights against them and the monsters they conjured.
EDIT:
This is definitely the most disgustingly bad drawn scene in episode for me◊

"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenI've never found that 100% faithfulness is a requirement. If anything it just adds one reason to skip the series and spend the time elsewhere, since I might as well just read the original then. Or skip the original instead, whichever seems more convenient. That's also missing out on the opportunity to explore other possibilities.
Check out my fanfiction!
Oh god. That is horrible. I would have been happier never knowing about it at all.
They could have at least gotten her drunk before hand, then maybe it would be in context.
One Strip! One Strip!Seriously Crystal needs to add more depth to Rei in Sailor Moon Crystal. She's as bland as she was in the manga. Also if the villains are kept alive and given more depth good.
"I don't give a rat's ass about going to hell. I guess it's because I feel like I'm already there." -MugenWe can see some of the cultural shift by Usagi not getting drunk at the party; she just gets all tuckered out.
x2
That sure is an odd way of saying that she is the best character thus far.
Maybe the main reason the Four Generals are kept alive is for one-on-one fights with their senshis counterpart?
I remembered a question had been brought up before, asking if Sailor Moon Crystal has 26 episodes, how much of the manga is it likely to adapt and is it going to go past the Dark Kingdom arc. Out of curiosity, I looked at my re-print Sailor Moon manga to check which one Act 26 is, and it is the final chapter of the Black Moon story, with Act 27 beginning the Death Busters part. If it does follow the manga chapters exactly (even with Jadeite being alive past Act 3), then it might combine what was originally Classic and R into one season.
Judging by the preview at the end, it looks like Act 5 is going to have the same story about the possessed bridal mannequin that the original manga did in Jupiter's introduction story.
By the way, I was wondering, because there are 5 Saturdays in August, is Act 5 going to come out on August 30, or on September 6?

Maybe it's like Rebuild Of Evangelion. Begin by showing the audience something that resembles the original product but then slowly start to deviate from it.
I'm sure there was an episode in Sailor Moon S where Usagi gets drunk.

x3
I keep seeing people say September 6th since episodes are supposed to come out the first and third Sundays of each month but I don't know if that is speculation or confirmed myself.
I thought they'd make an exception for 5-week months (particularly since Viz said every other week), but according to Neon Alley's schedule I'm likely wrong...again.
@johnnysasaki: There is, it's when she goes to an Englishman's party with Mamoru and she babbles about the "pudding of relativity." In the original manga of Act 4 (not sure about the original anime Princess D episode), she also gets drunk on what she thinks is "juice" at the party and that's when Mamoru kisses her. It didn't show her getting drunk in the Crystal version, though, just that she falls asleep transformed and Mamoru kisses her while she's asleep.

..welp. even if its just a few preview bits. Goddamn does the Jupiter henshin look epic.
not sure about the original anime Princess D episode
Usagi also got tipsy in the 90s anime, making the reaction to Tuxie kissing her worse.
The art crew definitely seems different for this episode. Rei's face is a good benchmark; last ep it was almost painfully sharp and pointy at times, yet here it's more pleasantly rounded.
Overall, much better episode animation-wise. I hope this crew stays for most of the series, because I had no 'It hurts to look!' moments this time. And logic holes aside, it was very entertaining.
Jadeite is back and not about to go down without an actual fight. Why Luna needs to introduce everyone again is beyond me. Ami and Rei get a proper conversation, and Rei is introduced to the wonders of video games. Time to look for the mysterious princess who totally isn't the idiot right next to you. I suppose invitations are unnecessary if you're cute. Ami and Rei get actual work done. Mamoru isn't even freaking trying to disguise himself anymore. I know Usagi is dumb, but how does she not recognize him? Nephrite time already. Apparently Moon's tiara can't regenerate. Except it can because of love. It definitely looks like the 4 Generals are going to get to do stuff beyond dying. Mamoru goes into full creep mode. Makoto looks cool.
No, it isn't. He's pointing out how you seem to always try and deny you are the one who does the personal attacks first.
