Ok, so I got Tidus, Yuna, Lulu, and Kimarhi's Celestial Weapons. I'll end up getting Riku's sigil on my way to completing all the monster hunting require for Auron's.
That leaves Wakka as the odd man out. Fucking blitzball. <_<
Reels are Tournament prizes, the Sigil is a League prize. If you're in the middle of a tournament finish it then exit and save without looking at the prizes. Then just enter and exit the screen until you see the Reels.
The same tactic works on the League, but I just reset the data until the Sigil came up. If you reset, hire Brother for 10+ games. He's got great stats for low levels.
Got the Iron Duke as a prize in the Farplane Cup. A poor consolation prize, because Tidus was participating but he lost to bloody Paragon before I could fight him. :'(

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!I got all the reels, now I'm just grinding for his sigil. I'm currently in the middle of a league and still got 7 games left before I can start a new one. <_<
But yeah, Brother is Ridiculously OP for Blitzball.
Two monsters left to oversoul this playthough. Final score will be four monsters. Have to get them in NG+.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Iron Duke is an awesome prize.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.Well I'm right before the Chocobo Eater fight in X and the game still looks beautiful in HD. Lot harder this time around to grind though, maybe because I wasn't aware of time when I played it on PS 2 as a teenager and lately I keep track of time as much as I can.
Also, it's really hard to win at Blitzball, especially against the Al Bhed Psyches and Ronso Fangs. I recruited Biggs, Wedge and the guy with his wife and child in the Luca square before the path to Mii'hen Highroad.
Tatts is a really good MF in the early game, but he's on Kilika so you have to finish Operation Mi'hen for the ferries to start running before you can get him.
Ropp is one of the best defenders in the game. You get him at the Rin's first inn, so right where you are now. Zev Ronso is also one of my favorite midfielders. You can find him at Dock 5 in Luca.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyCompleted the Cactuar hunt, got the Chocobo Master Trophy,, and I believe I just made the requirement for Auron's sigil as well. All I need now is to grind in blitzball for Wakka <_<

I actually liked the audio drama for the most part - Yuna's completely random dumping of Tidus aside, Chaumi reacts the way I'd expect someone who grew up and eventually came to work for the bullshit that is any of Spira's ineffectual governing bodies to react. I'd call out Yevon Group 3.0 for being ridiculous, too.
Also, Tidus doesn't fall into teen drama hysterics and actually calmly asks who it was Yuna was seeing when she drops the bomb on him, and if that's not some very subtle, very deserved character development, I don't know what is.
Even so, it doesn't change the fact that Chuami is a massive bitch who condescends to everyone who doesn't share her view of the world (Aka that she's Auron's daughter and the Yevoners suck so much ass and prayer is stupid and so forth) and no one is spared, even the people she should probably be polite to for her mission. How her childhood friend can put up with her is a mystery.
Yuna's callous disregard for Tidus when they break up was pretty terrible too, the only good thing about the audio drama was that it showed how much Tidus has matured as a character.
Also, thanks for the Blitzball tips, I'll give them a try today.

Blame it on Japan's obsession with the Tsundere trope.
On a side note, I finally got all the Celestial Weapons.
Chuami remind me of Pre-Bevelle!Wakka. A friend was suprised to see how racist and mean Wakka was before getting to know Rikku.
Just beat the Omega Weapon. Of course, I ended up using Zanmato, but fuck doing it the "proper way."
I remember the first time I beat Omega Weapon in the PS 2 version of FFX. I kept Doublecasting Ultima and he died quickly, wasn't all that tough.
Omega Weapon has been given a massive HP boost (999,999 Hp, instead of 99,999) it'll take you while if you go that route again.
I'm in Australia, so I got the PAL/International Edition of the PS 2 version.
It's more fun to use Oblivion once Anima can consistently hit 99,999.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.Fucking Bahamaut King. Do a lot of grinding inside of Sin and there's little save points in between spaces. Go for the killing blow and the game goes "Not so fast, Bahamaut has a kamekaze attack if you don't kill him the right way!" <_<
I forgot how cheap this game can be sometimes.
Bahamaut? I'm sure you mean Behemoth. You don't have to fight them if you can't survive Meteor.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.If you're really bad about surviving Meteor, just track down auto-life. Or summon an aeon to finish the fight.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!A big thank you to everyone who gave me Blitzball tips. My team is starting to kick some real ass now. Already won 3 games in a row and tied in the fourth. The Al Bhed Psyches' goalie is really good, barely anything gets past them. How the hell did the Aurochs beat them when Tidus, Lulu and Kimahri were saving Yuna?
Also, Operation Mii'hen's happened and now it's time to get Ixion and grind some more. Everyone but Yuna and Tidus had 1000+ HP before Auron joined and then Tidus got 1000 HP and Yuna's still at 743 HP.
Nimrook is statistically one of the best goalies, if not the very best, by a large margin. Nap Shot is your friend.
I hope you picked up Ropp or Zev Ronso.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI got Ropp, but I didn't want to run all the way back to Luca for Zev Ronso. I know where he is though so I can get him if I manage to find my way back to Luca. I also got that inn guy at the Mii'hen Travel Agency, Jassu I think his name is? Fantastic goalie, he hasn't let a single goal in yet.
Yeah, that was from the novel, which takes place in between X-2 and the Audio Drama.
