Final Fantasy X HD Remaster

Currently working on Wakka's Saturn Sigil. Once that's done and/or once I get bored with it, Baaj Temple for Anima, then Belgemine shenanigans for the Magus Sisters.

Lightning Dodging record is 6. Will finish Lulu's weapon later. Much later.

Won't even bother doing Kimahri's. I'll make him a new one from scratch.

Other thoughts: Is there only one entrance to Mushroom Rock Road? Because the Dark Magus Sisters may just make it nigh-impossible to get Auron's Masamune. Have to get an Initiative weapon for Yuna and hope Anima can TKO.

I wish you could win prizes for Exhibition matches. The League takes ten bloody games to finish.

You got the Chocobo Master trophy? Damn dude, I raged quit on that last night because I was constantly getting cut off at the last second.

It's actually possible to enter from the front. I did it last night. You legit have to run hugging the wall to avoid them.

Besaid sphere is Baaj doesn't light up even though I've had Yuna equipped with the Rod of Wisdom which you get from Besaid's Co T for the entire game. Can't go back to the temple to check. Not strong enough to fight Dark Valefor yet. :'(

Do you have Yojimbo? Dark Valefor locked me out of Besaid and I needed to get back in for Valefor's second overdrive and the last sphere for Auron. I beat it by summoning Yojimbo and spending all of my gil in the hope that it used Zanmato, which it did on about the sixth attempt.

I do, but it turns out it's not needed. I was missing the Zanarkand sphere, not the Besaid one.

So my first try at Seymour Omnis, I forgot how the Mortiphasms worked, and got pretty well blown up.

My second try, I actually killed him so quickly I forgot to give Rikku and Kimahri a turn, and had to start over again. All that make-sure-everyone-gets-a-turn grinding paid off.

Usually by the time I get to Omnis I'd have already done so much grinding that it takes more effort to keep him alive along enough to make sure everyone gets a turn.

My copy arrived today. Game's looking great in 720p so far. (My TV doesn't do 1080p, it's an older TV and 1080i didn't look very good.)

Turns out only some of the creatures in X-2's Fiend Arena count towards Shinra's Oversoul list.

They'll count for the oversoul counter but you'll have to track down the monster in the game proper if you want it for Shinra. Went through 28 Barongs before I learned that. >_>

FFX looks amazing in HD, I just finished the swim to Besaid earlier today and honestly, the underwater part was nothing short of beautiful. Now I'm right before the Besaid Cloister of Trials, since I only had an hour or so to play until I had to go do off the net stuff.

Ok, I beat Sin in the airship battle, so now I'm in the final stage of the game. I still need to grind for everyone's Ultimate Weapons. I already have all the requirements for Yuna and Tidus.

Entering the home stretch. Only 17 enemies left to Oversoul.

The Butterfly mini game actually isn't that bad. Depth Perception is a bitch, but since the Butterflies are always in the same location, it's just a simple matter of following the same pattern.

I think I'm actually going to take a bit of a break from RP Gs, as between this and Tales of Symphonia I'm a little burned out and looking for something with a bit more action. Maybe I'll get the new Mario game before starting on X-2.

Yeah me either. Unless I want to be cheap and find a way to guarantee Yojimbo uses Zanmato.

A friend of mine let me play through Mount Gagazet but then he didn't let me carry on after defeating Seymour Flux with Bio-abuse.

Once I beat whatever I play next, X-2, and Dawn of the New World, I'll probably go back and go for some of those super-special trophies. Honestly, it seems the major trick is to get to the point where you can do the AP trick, and be able to grind Mimics (for gil for bribes/monsters/whatever). Getting a platinum trophy seems doable without an insane amount of effort (I tried to go for the Platinum in XIII but gave up on the all-equipment trophy)

So I've been watching the audio drama and holy crap, Chuami is 10000 times worse then I realized, she's such a stuck up brat. And Yuna's become kind of a bitch.

Did you get to the part everyone likes talking about yet?

Well I watched the whole thing, so probably. Which part was that, was it the part where Yuna dumps Tidus in such a cruel way, the part where Chuami is a condescending bitch (98% of the time.), the part where Lulu mocks Tidus for not knowing Yuna as well as he hoped, the part where John DiMaggio makes Wakka sound over a decade older then he is or the part where the entire thing sucked and the only good thing about Chuami and her friend was their voice actors?

The part where Tidus blows his head off because he thought a mine was a blitzball.

I believe that was actually from a tie-in novel, not the audio drama itself.

Either way, the audio drama was terrible and I'm glad there's no 10-3, because it would probably suck due to how far Yuna has fallen as a character.
