Okay, here's my idea. I've been wondering for a long time if people would enjoy watching a slapstick comedy cartoon starring the most unexpected butt monkeys: an elegant and graceful looking woman [Similar to Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty] and her bright, young innocent daughter, taking slapstick knows no gender to a whole new level by having wacky, over-the-top Loony Toons style shenanigans regularly happening to a woman who by all accounts SHOULD be a dangerous threat, and a kind-hearted, innocent little girl. I imagine it would have a very Pinky and the Brain feel to it, with the mother being the serious, no-nonsense one like Brain, and the little girl being the more silly of the two [though that's more due to childhood naivety than stupidity like Pinky]. The mother's plans would more often than not succeed if not for her daughter's inexperience and clumsiness, but she genuinely loves her daughter, leading to a fair amount of heartwarming moments. I haven't really come up with any details yet, sadly.

Here's an idea that's been floating around in my head. It's best described as a cross between "Sliders" and "Doctor Who". The main character was a kid named Brian, who discovers a time machine—which basically looks like a TV remote with 12 buttons—in his backyard one day. He picks it up, and gets zapped back in time to. . . I haven't decided when. Anyhow, he discovers that the time machine was created by a scientist in the future who calls himself the Info Maniac, and he sent it back to Brian's time to keep it out of reach of his traitorous assistant, known only as Classified Information. But there's a catch— Brian can't control what period the Time Machine goes to, and whenever he reaches a new one, it disappears, leaving a "clue" for him to follow to find it and leave. So if he were visiting ancient Rome, the time machine might disappear, and give him a clue to look for it inside the Coliseum. The time machine also has a function that makes it so he can't visit the same time twice—whenever he leaves a time period, its button disappears and is replaced with a new one. So each episode, he goes from time period to time period, hoping he'll end up in his own. Classified Information is the main villain of the series, and he has his own copy of the time machine. But he still wants the original because it's necessary for his ultimate plan. He's "helped" by his trio of minions known as the Experiments: Cybersaurus, an arhropomorphic cyborg dinosaur, Gela-10, a pile of slime who talks in gurgling noises, and Termite-nator, a robotic termite who has an insatiable appetite for wood. These three are the main comic relief of the series. Other characters include an evil Aztec priest, a Nazi mad scientist who's in cahoots with Classified Information, an American pioneer family who act like a stereotypical sitcom family, as well as underground Bird People, aliens, and the avatar of time itself. Yeah, it's that kind of show.

So, I'm currently writing the scripts for a cartoon called Xeiego: keepers of the lost garden. It centers around a group of 5 kids who get teleported to Gardona, the land of the small, through a box one of them found. They've been chosen to become a new Xeiego, a team of powerful warrior bugs. Each child can transform into a certain bug with their set of powers based on their insect. Their main duty is to protect the orb of life from getting into the hands of the blight, an all consuming alien hivemind. If it ever was destroyed or a piece was taken from it, there would be drastic changes to both their world and ours. Have I mentioned it's a kid show that's meant to inform kids on invertebrates?

another one I got is about a 13 year boy named Daniel Mc Chase who's looking for his dad after he disappeared without a trace. It turns out one of his expeditions was to go to an underground world to find geneix's lost experiments. He goes there along with his friends rufus and sam (Samantha) in order to find out his whereabouts. the end up in a world beneath the earth where mutants and monsters from different walks of life coexist. one of them by the name or skullhead wants to plunge the world into chaos to conquer the surface world. i forgot to mention he has a device used for capturing and analyzing mutants to use for combat.

Just for shits and giggles, has there ever been an official cartoon that ended up being EXACTLY like one of the ideas on this thread?

Well i had my own idea to educate children about airports and airplanes, like how engines work, hydraulic systems, ATC, so on. Designed to be described in hilarious ways like why you don't want to full throttle on the ground and show a animation of a engine falling off and spiraling into the air and causing a minor fireball.

Is it also the thread for weird/bad ideas? Because I've been inspired by the WMG.Da Boom Crew page, and its idea of turning "people trapped into a world they're supposed to know" into "people trapped into a world they know by heart, but also know is random".

So instead of amateur game makers, we get a group of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Randomized speedrunners trapped in the game. Now they must rely on both their wits and their actual physical strength to survive in a dangerous world where they know nothing is at its place... and find out the hard way just how bad this seed is.

I also have an Idea that I inspired from watching Hi Hi Puffy Ami Yumi and The Simpsons.

The Japanese Rock Girls with One Mexican Boy, and a Baby. It'll be about Japanese J-Pop Rock Girls, A Mexican Boy, and a Baby. They go on tour, go to gigs with their parents, Brad and Linda, and mostly hang out at their bus. Characters:

Hanoka: A cyan haired, 23 year old girl who plays the keyboard.

Diego: A Mexican, 12 year old Boy, who plays the trumpet.

Yuna: A pink haired, 16 year old girl who plays the guitar

Yumi: A purple haired, 16 year old girl who plays the drums. A twin sister of Yuna.

Peaches: Thee youngest of the family. The baby sister to the girls and Diego.

Brad and Linda: The parents of the kids. They're the drivers of the bus.

Feel free to let me know if the characters fit with the actors. Note: Hanoka, Yuna, and Yumi are Japanese but they speak english.
