The Justice League image does a very good job at showing the trope. The title, not so much. This one is very opaque and could really use a more descriptive name.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI'd be alright with V Formation Team Picture, V-Formation Team Shot, or V Formation Cast Shot.
V Formation Picture would be better, because if we include the words "Cast" or "Team", someone will come by and nitpick about the people in Specific Example X aren't a team, or they're not all a part of the same cast, or somesuch.
Being in a Japanese-produced work is not enough of a difference to warrant its own trope.^^Like the second and third of those.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyV Formation Cast Shot is my favorite of those.
Thinking this over, I think this also needs a bit of work to distinguish it from Power Walk. As it stands, the only difference between the two is that this trope is a still shot. That difference really seems negligible to me - I think they could be made more distinct.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Power Walk doesn't need a V formation, and in fact rarely has a V formation. Occasionally there will be one guy in the centre a step ahead of everyone else more but, it's more typical that they're all in a straight line. It's about them being all head on and not overlapping.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe V formation is part of the trope definition because it's aesthetically pleasing.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.V Formation Cast Shot is fine with me.
Fight smart, not fair.Looks like everyone is in favour of a rename, can we get a crowner between
V Formation Pose? V Formation Cast Shot, descriptive as it is, falls just a notch on the long side...
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.V Formation Cast Shot ot V-Formation Team Shot. If anyone complains what ×???? says, then we answer that Tropes Are Flexible.
Fanfic Recs orwellianretcon'd: cutlocked for committee or for Google? The crowner's up.
Yes, I said you wouldn't find me working in TRS...sue me.

How much are you worth?
Fight smart, not fair.*checks wallet* Not a cent right now.
I don't want to have to take on a lawyer, you have to clean up after them and get a rabies shot every few weeks.
Fight smart, not fair.Oh, lawyers are easy to handle. You have to simply be prepared for them. One, they're typically nowhere near as intelligent or educated as you'd think someone who spent that long in college would be. Two, they're easily distracted, so rather than keep up on your shots, you should have their particular vice on-hand to distract them. Single malt scotch is a frequent winner, although a gourmet steak frequently works well (filet mignon, tarragon butter, and two sides), and enough research will indicate if they have more particular needs.
My own lawyer is kept sedate and scratch-free with a combination of gourmet entrees and a steady supply of Nintendo DS games. I keep emergency pictures of cute kittens around should those fail.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. On topic, please. It's good to see Willbyr crossing over to the darkside, but still.
Do you think we have enough votes to call this?
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickSorry; I think I've been too reticent to indulge silliness of late and got carried away.
Shouldn't we wait for the crowner to at least age a little before calling it? I know we're trying to cut down the open TRS threads, but I'd think we'd still want to take the usual time for the newer ones like this.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Ah, whoops, misread the date on it. Thought it started the 5th instead of the 15th.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe description for Justice League Shot was copied and pasted to a new V-Formation Team Shot page, the wicks were fixed, and Justice League Shot was made a redirect for V-Formation Team Shot. There are also now notes about the rename on both the Renamed Tropes page and in the Renamed Tropes thread. There was no discussion to move.
If I made any mistakes or missed anything during the rename process, feel free to point that out to me.

"irhgT nm0w tehre might b ea lotof th1nmgs i dont udarstannd, ubt oim ujst goinjg to keepfollowing this pazth i belieove iN !!!!!1 dEverything looks good. I've already made adjustments to indicate that the trope used to be named after Justice League, and changed the caption to something witty.
It's work dependent, and maybe even worse than that. If you don't know who the justice league is, you have no idea why they are getting shot, or what kind of shot it is.
Actually, these should probably be named "Picture" rather than "Shot" to make it 100% clear it's a picture trope. Even if you vaguely know who the justice league is, you still might not understand the trope.
The Justice League has nothing to do with the trope beyond being the current trope namer. The name doesn't adequately explain the "Team in a V Formation" aspect of the trope.
37 wicks, 50 inbounds.
There's a little bit of misuse, a handful of entries forget the point of the trope being the V formation itself, there are only about 20 or so real entries (as opposed to references to the trope in sub-tropes and super-tropes and various index pages).
V Formation Team Picture as a potential new name?
