The "Dere" Family

So? We have much worse titles kept around because they're pre-existing terms. When we can come up with a good alternative title, we do—look at Dandere. I just don't see the need to change a pre-existing term that is working by all the metrics we have other than "Not in English."

And again, we're arguing to keep two titles. That's all.

This is kind of random of me, and forgive me if I'm doing the wrong thing commenting on this here , but Eddie has ruled on Kuudere, which is now Sugar-and-Ice Personality, and the TRS thread has been locked. I'm kind of loath to make any kind of thread pertaining to Kuudere whatsoever anywhere, in case someone takes it the wrong way, I'm just wondering if you guys think we should start some kind of effort to change all the kuudere wicks on the site to Sugar-and-Ice Personality. As of right now Kuudere is an exampleless fanspeak page, not a redirect. Admittedly it says examples are now on Sugar-and-Ice Personality (which they weren't actually, until I moved them there) but i suspect the page will just die and people will keep using Kuudere if we don't change all those wicks.

You would probably be best off starting a new thread to clean up the wicks.

Frankly, the only thing this thread seems to be doing now is chanting "Hell no! Tsundere won't go!" anyway. The conversation, as such, has pretty much stalled.

Make a special efforts thread. Isn't that what its there for?

And I really don't know why this thread isn't getting more attention. Most of the other ones got lots.

The problem is finding people with the patience to work on changing over a thousand wicks. :|

Why is Kudeere still a seperate page? It seems redundant as no other Fan Speak page has a redirect as it's own page .

Pettanko is just a fanspeak page. I do think an index of pages that are just definitions would be good. We could call it the TV Tropes Dictionary. Or something to that effect.

That's just what Fast Eddie did. I think it would be easier just making it a redirect to Sugar-and-Ice Personality but eh. He's got the powah.

But... the description didn't seem biased to me, unless I've forgotten a paragraph. :|

It was determined that the original description was overcomplicated and intimidating, and most of the information on it should be relegated to Analysis anyways because it wasn't especially necessary or useful to understanding the trope.
