True, and per Eddie, at the very least it needs to be the pic for the Comic Books subpage rather than the main trope page.

So what do we put on the main trope page?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Nothing; that's the point. Besides, the comic book page leads off with the Hank Pym example that's in the pic, so it would make even more sense for it to be there.

I think that, while its true that not everyone knows what the picture is about, leaving the picture up is better than no picture at all. Its better that SOME people get the reference than having NOBODY be able to see a picture. IF a troper gets the reference, then they get the reference; if they don't get it, then they will just move on (or just read the examples).
In between Not Even Human and Not Quite Human
clearly, you have not read How To Pick A Good Image, or Fan Myopia, or Just A Face And A Caption.
Or they'll make an Image Picking Discussion thread pointing out that it doesn't show the trope very well.
Hear, hear! *waves newspaper*
Thank you for the reply that I couldn't put into words earlier. Unless someone raises a serious objection, I'm going to move this pic to the comic book subpage and lock this up.

Now wait a minute — I though that picture was a good fit. If you're not going to put it on the main page though, at least keep on the Comics-Subpage. For whatever reason, it's not there either, so, if it's not gonna' be on the main page, at least put on the Comics-Subpage. (I would, but I have no idea how to do that.)
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundThat's exactly what I was going to do.
...sooo, could you do that please?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyEddie cut the pic off the main page, so I've put it on the Comic Book subpage. Locking up.
I know its a famous example, but it just doesn't work.
