He's a teenage boy. It's easy to forget how much even quite well-balanced teenage boys can be obsessed with boobs. If he has a bit of a need to escape from the stresses of his usual life, that could amplify that (and make it slightly more forgiveable).
And hey, he's not being too horrible here. If he's learned about sex from Game of Thrones, at least it's helping him take his sister coming out in his stride.
= Spindriver =There are some good life lessons in Go T. Be careful what you ask for, family is important.....the right music can make or break a wedding....
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117He was a freshman when Danny and Joyce were sophomores in Roomies, but he seems maybe a little younger than high-school-senior here?
Fresh-eyed movie blogHoly internalized biphobia Batman
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. It's strangely jarring to see characters not knowing that bisexuality is real. Perhaps I'm from a more knowledgeable back ground, but "bisexuality doesn't exist" seems like a dated argument to me.
Of course I'm not American so I don't know what ignorance is like over there, and it seems to be only Billy has this belief.
Considering how poor sex ed is across the nation's schools, and how wildly variant our culture can be regarding the topic, it's dismaying but unsurprising.
I have several family members who think its fake. The "just pick one" argument is incredibly widespread, even though it makes no sense.
Frankly, while ignorance of bisexuality may be real and doubtless annoying and possibly dangerous, it's also just too darned useful as a comedy device. You can have characters tying themselves up in ridiculous knots denying what they patently obviously are, without the sense of tragedy that comes with a gay character doing so.

OW. Becky with the low blow.
Roz kinda sorta had that coming, but still.
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117About time somebody called her out on her bullshit.
Welcome to Estalia, gentlemen. What's Becky talking about ?
I always felt like some of the backlash to labels of "bisexual" are the same as how we handle racial and ethnic heritage. People want to say that they're "black" or "Asian" instead of saying that they're "mixed-race" because they have a great-grandfather who was black. They want to say that they're "Scots" or "Malaysian" instead of stating the mixed bag of nationalities they hail from. Similarly, unless someone falls pretty close to the middle, I suspect they're more likely to identity as either "gay" or "straight" even if there are exceptions.
And yes, sick burn by Becky.
Roz made that picture of Robin and Leslie supposedly making out, and publicized it, with the very clear intent of ruining her sister's career out of a sense of activism. Leslie, an actual gay person that Roz supposedly wanted to protect and had roped into this scheme, is catching a lot of flack over this too, making her collateral damage.
Becky basically calls her out on this.
...."resources"? So, just handing out helpful info? Or, is this "this will be on the test" type stuff?
I'm Charlie Owens, good night and good luck. PSNID: CEOIII 1117The first one, I think? I could be wrong, though.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I'm pretty sure this is stuff to help Becky with her various ongoing life issues.
Oh God! Natural light!Oh that would make sense, like this is a cheap place to stay, this is how you enroll in the middle of the semester this is scholarships/bursaries?
I know Leslie is using charity to absolve her guilt, but really I can't help but be happy.
Becky having a place to sleep is good.
I am loving how enthusiastic Leslie is! This is very sweet.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.
Sure they are, but he is kinda obsessive over them.
