"Lithuanian, actually" Sadako said, taking the hand Ai offered her. She smiled warmly "I'd be happy to show you to the music room. I know what it's like to be the new girl, I had trouble finding my way around when I first moved here from Tokyo. I'll show you right where it is, as soon as Hikari gets here"

Life is like a game of Mahjong. Sometimes you need to take risks if you want to come out ahead.Ai smiled and waved as Hikaru stalked off.
"Bye, Ru-chan!" she said cheerfully, before turning her attention back to Sadako.
She gently rubbed the back of the Lithuanian's hand with her thumb, careful not to scratch her with her fingernail.
"I'm lucky I found you. You seem so... nice."
A pause, leaning in like she was tempted to kiss the girl. She wasn't... when she wanted to kiss someone, she damn well kissed them... but it would make a good misimpression. She pulled back, letting her cheeks redden a bit, and expertly faking a shy smile.
"Lithuania, then? I... I have to admit, I don't know much about the place but... well, it sounds exotic. Why did you leave?"
Sadako blushed, enjoying the feeling of Ai's hand on hers. "Actually, I was born in Tokyo. My father got a high paying job working for a Japanese company, and ended up marrying my mother."
Life is like a game of Mahjong. Sometimes you need to take risks if you want to come out ahead."Have you ever been there?" Ai asked.
Hikari slid herself gently out of her seat, picked up her bag, and left the class with everyone else, trying to keep her head down again.
"Yup. That tasted purple.""Here will do," Natsumi said, packing away her things and stopping the music from playing, "What do you want to talk about?"
Nekomi appeared to be stirring. This was a good sign. Probably. Avatar Source
Sakura looked at Kanako and raised her eyebrow. "Saying you're out of it, Kana-san," she said, "is like saying that I'm slightly haughty. Or saying that Akira is slightly insane."
She paused, then opened her mouth to say another thing, but stopped before she uttered anything; she stared, slack-jawed, at something behind Kanako's back.
"That girl... I don't think I got her name..." she said at length, "what in the nine hells possessed her? Is she trying to..." -her eyebrow ticked- "To... Och, really."
"Yes" replied Sadako, "I visit my family in Lithuania most summer breaks. My uncle has a house in Kaunas."
Life is like a game of Mahjong. Sometimes you need to take risks if you want to come out ahead.Faulkner nodded softly as Nekomi stirred.
"Hope she will be all right. Apologies for the wheeled barrel, it is all I was able to find, and Nekomi is somewhat large."
"Is it nice there? I don't know much about... Oh, hey, Hikari-kun!"
Ai grabbed the girl (and former boy, if she was reading the signs right, hence the -kun) by the wrist before she could get away.
"You look lonely. Sadako-chan was going to walk me to the music room, and I'm guessing you don't know where it is either. Wanna come with us?"
She smiled softly, brushing against Hikari casuall as she pulled the shy girl close.
Ichigo turned the radio back on.
"I hope you don't mind a little music. I wouldn't want anyone listening in on us. After all... This is a business meeting, isn't it?"
The kitsune paced back and forth, sizing Natsumi up.
"You're new. Usually I handle my business through Rocky. What's Gideon want this time?"

Hikari went bright red.
"O-OK..." She stammered. It was plain she didn't really have a choice though.
I wonder if it's a bit too early to break that...
"Yup. That tasted purple."Ai explicitly has the ability to know things she shouldn't.
A smile from the slightly-tanned girl, almost flirtatious.
"Don't worry, honey.. You're in good hands. Promise."
Hikaru remained mildly annoyed as she got to the music room, waiting for the teacher to show up.
...Even if she does leave, the mage mused, adjusting her glasses, it's not like it'll be too different from any other breakup. I still...
The girl sighed. She'd known the kitsune for what, a day? Well...she supposed she had always latched on to people pretty quickly.
Avatar from http://x0whitelily0x.livejournal.com/7486.htmlThe tone of voice didn't do much to stop Hikari blushing.
I'm going to wind up fainting again, aren't I?
"Yup. That tasted purple.""For a group that all left together, everyone sure is taking their time getting here. Don't you think Hikaru?" asked Yurika to one of the few people that made it to the music room.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Hikaru smirked a little at that.
"Well, our teacher isn't even here..." she pointed out, adjusting her glasses with one finger.
"Maybe that's what they think excuses it."
She picked a chair a few away from Yurika and sat down.

An heir such as I, however, does not deal with end consumers and loose connections on the street," Natsumi said, "Which are you, anyway? I can't know everyone we deal with by sight."
Avatar Source"Aw, she's so bashful," Ai giggled. "Don't worry. You can be yourself around us."
Ichigo stared blankly.
"Given that little talk you gave us in class, I figured you were trying to get my attention. But if you don't recognize the names, you're not one of ours."
She scoffed.
"And as far as the heiress thing goes, well... You're dead. So I'm guessing inheritance works pretty much the exact opposite of how you think it does."
Ichigo was playing with fire, and she knew it. But her very nature drove her to see how far she could push it.
"Welcome to your new life, Yukimura. I'd be careful with it if I were you... But you're not the cautious type, are you? If it's not about my job, why are you here, anyway?"

Yurika let out a little sigh as she leaned against the wall "Our class is beyond repair. One of these days I might even start to believe Faulkner when she says the school is stacking the odds against her"
"I mean, I'm not a model student by any counts and yet I am appalled at times"

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. The red slowly drained out Hikari's face. She stayed silent though.
"Yup. That tasted purple.""You ready to take us, Sadako-chan?" Ai asked.
She then turned to Hikari, a predatory grin on her face.
"I don't know about you, Hikari-chan... But moving to a new school.... Life is just full of changes, isn't it?"
"Looking for the person that killed me, of course. What else do I have to do, fool? I am fully prepared to take control when my father dies; I have been for years. This is just another pastime... maybe I should move onto being a walking harbinger of disasters, next?" Natsumi laughed, ignoring the kitsune's threats. Threatening an Onryo was... beyond a bad idea, really. Intentionally or not, they were all bearers of bad luck, from personal things to natural disasters.
Threatening one was kind of stupid.
Avatar Source"Y-yes..."
"Yup. That tasted purple."Ichigo hadn't meant to come off as threatening... but she didn't particularly care if she had, either. It's not like a kitsune wasn't dangerous too.
She shrugged.
"You'd need a lot of explanations on how you're taking over when you're dead."
Almost as an afterthought, she added, "Lies would probably be a good idea."
Tired of pacing, Ichigo sat down.
"So... Who killed you?"
Hook, line and sinker.
The succubus wrapped an arm around her prey, breathing gently in the shy girl's ear.
"I don't knoe about Sadako-chan... But I'm going through some changes myself... So I might have a little bit of insight into your condition... And I'd be more than happy to help you adjust. You might even find out that you've had a change for the better..."

"Alright, Ai-chan" Sadako said, still holding her hand. "The music room is this way" With Ai and Hikari in tow, she headed in the direction of the music room
Life is like a game of Mahjong. Sometimes you need to take risks if you want to come out ahead.
It took a little longer before Kanako got herself to break out of the sleepy reverie. When she did half the class appeared to have left. Feeling as if she'd been left behind for most of the day anyway, she grabbed her things and exited the classroom with an absent expression on her face. Only when she'd arrived in the hallway did she realize that Sakura had been waiting for her.
"Oh, sorry 'bout that," she chuckled, "Guess I'm really out of it today."
After waiting for Sakura to join her in the hallway, she asked, "Do you think I could get out of music class since have absolutely no musical ability?"
Nurse Mino hadn't had as easy of a time with the transfer of Nekomi to a hospital bed. It wasn't the weight of course, that would have been too easy to explain. Instead she slipped and bumped her chest on the foot board of said hospital bed. That really smarted, especially considering the surprising amount of force with which the impact had occured.
Still, she managed to grimace through the pain and answer Faulkner's quesiton, "She doesn't seem to have been hurt by the move, though a wheelbarrow probably wasn't the best means of transportation to use. We won't know if she had anything more until she wakes up. Not like I have a CAT scan or anything."
