Motion to pull current image.

The current image for School Nurse is Ritsuko from Neon Genesis Evangelion, which is incorrect. The caption states that she's only a nurse in the High School AU Neon Genesis Evangelion Angelic Days (that is, this image is from the wrong series).

This image also doesn't inherently illustrate any aspect of the trope. There's nothing about her costume or setting that suggests nurse or school.

Swapped out work pages in the image. Now it technically applies to her.

That still doesn't address the fact that Ritsuko, at least in that pic, doesn't look like a school nurse.

It's not like a school nurse has a defining appearance to them beyond the white lab coat, but whatever.

Hmm. A picture of a nurse actually attending to a student would erase any doubt about the character.

That's pretty much exactly what this page needs.

Hmm.. I can think of a male example that might work, but I'd need to get the DV Ds for a screenshot.

Maburaho has a male doctor examining a student for his magic potential in the first episode. If you don't mind seeing the back of a shirtless highschool boy, it would work.

I may have a picture of a female example, checking two High School Students, but right now I don't have this pic in high quality.

From the view of it, do you think it's worth enough that I go hunting for the Memory Card containing this scene (because I actually forgot in which card I put it among the 20+ cards I have) and get a high quality screen capture of it?

The trope description focuses on female nurses, so I think it'd be best to have a picture of a female nurse.

Personally, I like that one.

If it's not really important to the trope, the gender isn't important.

Against pulling for no image. She does have the white lab coat and clipboard.

I am for finding a better image. Preferably one with a student.

I vote third RL picture, and I'm for pulling the image until a better pic is found.

I like three better because you have the stereotypical nurse's office bed-thing, kiddie-style medical diagrams on the walls, and the lady is wearing a nurse-y top. The second pic just looks like some older lady taking a look at the hand of a girl with a bandaged arm. There's nothing to indicate she's a nurse or that they're in a nurse's office.

Pulled the image that was up. No reason it had to be an anime image.

Ryouko Mikado from To Love Ru? [1]◊ add that sexyness that these all have.

I would put Ako from Negima forward but would a Class Nurse fit this? She is the Class's Nurse, sometimes translated to "Nurse's Aid" even though its wrong. (even though she is afraid of blood ) [2]◊ [3]◊ [4]◊

The first one looks like a generic sexy nurse. Nothing about it says school. Or even nurse really. It just looks like a woman wearing a sexy dress in a hospital.

The second one is just weird. It looks more like a costume than anything that shows School Nurse.

I think the best idea here would be to go with a actual School Nurse like in those RL photos. So I'm sticking my vote with #3 of those.

I mean, I prefer a RL image too, and that was the direction the thread was going... but why was there the need for an admin to pull the picture? And explicitly for being anime?

No, it's just that there's no reason to look through anime images that look like generic nurses when there are RL pictures that fit the trope better.

The rule is that it must be NSFW, or just not display the trope at all.

That's not following his own guidelines.

We'd had about five people vote to pull before Fast Eddie actually pulled it. That's why. Nothing about the image said either nurse or school.
