Given how hard a time he's having getting a second movie made, I think it's safe to consider all associated projects to be dead unless/until we hear otherwise.

I actually remembered that there was an ongoing Pacific Rim series with three issues and picked it up.
Its adequate I guess.
A husband and wife Jaeger piloting team are getting their ass beat and they keep passing out and drifting into flashbacks about their past.
I would have preferred the comic focus on the movie jaeger teams that barely got any exploration or cool non-movie ones like Nova Hyperion or Diablo Intercept.
Also, the comic has really slow pacing.
