After all the controversy, I expected more. They should take the claims made about Night Trap, and turn that into a game. I suppose a Dana Plato cameo would be out of the question :(
Except [condescending response follows]. Because [sarcasm here]. You do understand [snark], right? POTHOLE TO SARCASM MODE

Look what's getting a 25th anniversary remaster out of nowhere!

Night Trap is a game that I have not had the pleasure of playing. Then again, from what I've seen on You Tube clips, the game, or should I say interactive movie, there seems to be little gameplay apart from scanning the rooms and trying to trap creatures at the right times.
I remember when I was a kid and I was watching Entertainment Tonight, which featured scenes from this game. One scene showed Augers being caught by a Trap Door and a trap that involves a staircase. Another scene showed Augers ganging up on that one girl in the bathroom. I guess this happened at the time when Moral Guardians were throwing a fit over this game. Well, my memory might be a little hazy in some ways, but I actally thought those Augers were ninja. That, and the game reminded me of Home Alone, probably because of the whole trap thing.
You know, it just seemed sad how Tony looked like he wanted to make a Heel–Face Turn and then...he didn't. It was such a shame that he had to be caught in a trap.
Was I the only one I thought it was weird that you were supposed to protect those girls, and when you do so, they just disappear and they are never mentioned again? If you ask me, there seemed to be a number of instances of What Happened to the Mouse?
I've also heard that some people think a remake of Night Trap would be cool. What do you think about that?
