What the title says.

So... do we just put it back, or do we look for a better picture?

Seems somebody new went and changed it before, before Cats Dont Dance it used to be Lion King.

And I think before The Lion King image, there was one of someone from Elfen Lied.

So, do I put the Cat's Don't Dance image back up, or should we look for better pictures?

I'd say keep the Lion King image as the leader right now but keep looking for other options.

I have never seen the lion king.

1) Does that pic suitably show sorrow? Maybe the big cat is asleep and is being woke up?

2) Was that cub ever happy? Would I ever be able to tell he was happy at one point?

3) Is this death well known enough that this wouldn't spoil when I gaze at the page?

1) I personally think his expression makes it clear that he's sad. I think most people would assume death on seeing the picture, but I could be wrong.

2)I think you could probably assume so, but we could always stick another picture of him being happy on top of this one if we need to.

3)No, it isn't. I'm pretty sure that "Mufasa dies" goes into It Was His Sled territory.

That is all I ask. And perhaps a third picture of him depressed and moping?

I think some random plot element was all that was missing from the Cat'sCantDance picture.

...I personally think the CDD picture is better with the first caption (i.e. not the stupid one about TV Tropes that fails to be funny). The Lion King one, stripped of context, doesn't show the "used to be happy" part...

I agree. It showed a happy and upbeat cat and a down and depressed cat. The old caption created that plot element that is missing from it.

I say we use that one as the Lion King one needs several things to make it better.

I like the CDD picture better. Cuz it's a before-and-after picture and goes well with the trope. Oh, and TheDeadMansLife, I suggest you check You Tube for Mufasa's Death. It's not hard to find.

Oh, and that someone who changed the image, as you say, is moderator Camacan. And I don't find it a bad image.

Why would I need to check it? I have seen the movie, and if you are arguing the amount of hits for it means it is not a spoiler, well I say bugger that because there are a bunch of videos for characters who died that are not It Was His Sled

Really? You saw the movie? On the upper post it says you've never watched it. Now I'm supposed to believe you've watched the movie for the first time no more than 4 days ago. I don't like deceptions like that. It's pretty hard to believe that there are TVTropers who haven't seen The Lion King. I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm saying it's not legitimate. But that's just my believes.

Personally, the CDD pic doesn't look like a Break the Cutie sorta thing to me. Depression =/= broken, IMO. But that's just me. I like the Lion King one better, provided it gets expanded with an extra pic or two showing happiness and and the aftermath of the shown event.
