The way she's so casual about firing out of the shield, focusing instead on her newfound ability to control the rate of fire, suggests to me that she's been able to do that in the past.

Even Sydney is wondering what her unqualified ass is doing there.

I'm surprised she didn't produce a water bottle and spritz it...

I don't think a bottle of water was in her pool of possible pack additions.

With the Mole— I mean Light Hook, she doen't need a spritzer. Or, rolled-up newspaper, for that matter.

Kind of surprised Sydney isn't lampshading the golem's powers with a comment about "How original. An android who can copy the powers of all of the team. That hasn't been done to death in the comics."

To be fair, Sydney was busy hanging a lampshade on a Good Thing You Can Heal moment.

Also, not sure that this robot is copying powers yet. This might just be "observing powers and realizing you can do that too." After all, if power copying is going on, I'd totally want to copy that really sweet shield.

I think it's using stores of the drained blood to give itself new abilities. That's why the line at the bottom is "Throw sick person blood on it!" Pixel has regeneration and laser claws, so when it uses her blood it gets regeneration and laser spikes.

Of course, it shouldn't have Pixel's blood because of the reset, but it's already been proven that it's not a clean reset.

Concrete knuckles. Sorry, no time today to try for a cute title. Golem is being tactical. Sydney continues to be distracted on an Achilles level (but is likely also distracting the thingie).

Sydney, now's the time to ask - why does it want you out of the way?

Sydney's ability to remain calm is admirable.

I remember when playing D&D and having a monk that went all showy with the various unarmed grapples and melee strikes he did. I can't blame Anvil for going that route, either.

I somehow suspect that Anvil did not simply jump off the Osprey. Instead, she was "pushed". Possibly even thrown by someone like Hiro.

To answer The Rant, wasn't it established that Hiro is in the top ten when it comes to raw strength? And depending on just how old this creature is, maybe nobody back when it was made could have just ripped out its core like that. I'm not so sure that this is a design flaw as it was creeping violent obsolescence.

Clothing Damage. Honestly, I'm surprised that Sydney hasn't pulled a camera out of her utility belt.

... odds that Sydney has spare Batman and Robin suits (thin costume material, probably) in her utility belt for emergencies and Hiro and Maxima are going to face the enemy cosplaying?

Sydney, as well as Hiro, are well aware that Worth It only comes into effect if there are any remote chances of surviving Maxima's Wrath of photographic evidence of any sort.

Also, Maxima seems to enjoy a good set of quality black lace from appearances.

The fact that Hiro is making the effort is what's going to save him from anything worse than embarrassment. The fact that he's crying over it, though, is hilarious.
