I agree overall. I don't really care about the fitting-ness, I just don't like it when they only seem to fit the name of the trope.
Fight smart, not fair. The Captain Stupendous examples on the page provide some good pic fodder.

Bump...I guess the question is, should we keep the current pic or pull it? I lean toward pulling, but not strongly enough to insist on it, at least until I get a chance to work on those webcomic pics.
Trust me: If you lack any image on this page, you may find another Sonichu related image in its place, which nobody but the Trolls want.
Replacing the current image is okay, but removal just invites CWC trolls.
So, please, find a replacement instead of pulling.
Thanks

I like the last two panels on the second proposal.
Fight smart, not fair.Like this? (Note for person adding this: 337 pixels wide)

I like the first of those on its own; its abruptness is funny.
I'm fine with just the first panel.
I like the 2-panel version a little better.
I think the first panel alone could work.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanI think the one panel could work alone, but I like the two panel better because it shows that it's something he brings up constantly.
Fight smart, not fair.Bump...any other thoughts?
I vote just one panel. Two feels unnecessary, because him saying he isn't gay has no relation to what she's saying in either panel.
Well, that puts it at 4-3 for the one-panel version...run a quick crowner, or just get some more votes in like this?
I definitely like the one panel better.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"Anyone else?
Well, it's not much of one, but the majority's for the one-panel version, so it's up, potholed, and tagged. Caption or no?
Doesn't seem as if the image actually adds anything, TBH. Could use the dialogue alone and you'd get the exact same effect.
That'd be the case with pretty much any pic for this trope.
So is a picture really needed then? Having one for the sake of having one seems quite daft to me, especially if the needs are served just as well by text alone.
Anyone else think we should axe the pic for the text as a quote?
Hearing no further support, let's lock this up.
The trope Have I Mentioned I Am Heterosexual Today? is about a character who feels the need to repeatedly and constantly point out his (or her) heterosexuality.
The image, Emily from Misfile, is not an example thereof. As the caption indicates, she has quite a bit of Les Yay going on with Ash. More importantly, regardless of whether she is or is not lesbian, she's simply not the type to constantly talk about this. Yes, she says this in the image in question, but that's an exception rather than the rule.
So yeah. The image might look like it illustrates the trope, but people familiar with the work depicted should realize it really doesn't. Move to pull.
