I never thought I would hear the words "no-kill run" and "Bayonetta" used together in a sentence.
Did you mean "no-death run"? Because I'm pretty sure this isn't MGS 2 and you can't cherry-tap Angels into submission, or hit them with the blunt side of Kulshedra.
And if there is a mode like that then what the fuck was I playing?

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Yeah, i meant the latter
I had the same thought after i wrote it, but was too apathetic to fix.
I like that they included Andy Williams' original track of Fly Me to the Moon in the credits.
According to V Gchartz Bayo 2 sold around half a million copies .
VG Chartz is known for just making up numbers. Famitsu, I think, should have reported its weekly sales in Japan but, for everywhere else, good luck.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Unlocked Rodin. Not even going to pretend it was anyone but my partner that got me through that fight.
Speaking of Tag Climax, there was another player that looked like she was using Shuraba. How'd she get her hands on that in Bayo 2?
Bummer.
You can unlock Bayo's classic look in Rodin's shop and it comes with Shuraba and Scarborough Fair.
VG Chartz doesn't "make up numbers" (disclosure, i am a moderator on VGC and have been there a long time). What they have are estimation algorithms that are more suited to certain games than others, and they tend to overestimate certain games, sometimes badly, niche games like Bayonetta suffer especially. Console tracking is better, though adjustments are frequent.
Doesn't help that the site's owner has barely cared about the place for the last three years or so, jumping to other pet projects such that even the site's functionality is starting to break down.
"Estimation algorithm" is just a fancy way of saying that they make up numbers. There may be some logic, sure, they may be close in certain instances, sure; but those aren't actual sales figures and shouldn't be treated as such.
Really, there should just be more disclosure regarding sales figures in America like there is in Japan.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That's the bigger problem. Media Create numbers come out very frequently, so adjustments are easier to make and there is more precise data from which to create models. NPD is spotty for a number of reasons, not the least of which is its lurching pace, and the fact that NPD is itself a model (Media Create is actual, complete data).
..... Do it.
Watch SymphogearThat would be really cool, but for which console?
if i recall correctly bayonetta 2 pretty much tanked on release in Japan, though I don't remember the exact numbers.
to my recollection it's done much better in America. earlier in this thread there was a post saying it was very high on amazon's list of most sold games and was the number one wii u game during its release.
Considering it's Capcom, it would be PS 4/X1 only.
I wouldn't mind, really. I have a Wii U and will get a PS 4 with the release of The Order 1886, so I would be fine with that.
Watch SymphogearNintendo rescues the franchise from oblivion, they'd best get some sort of repayment for that.
Have I mentioned I completed Bayonetta 2 and that it was friggin' awesome? Because I completed Bayonetta 2 and was friggin' awesome! I really like how it has less unfair BS than in the first game (No Press X to Not Die, no limited moves challenges, ranking not destroyed for missing a few hidden verses).
Regarding this and DMC, I'm just surprised they are mentioning it now. Never played DMC, but it they have old Dante in there it could be quite a ride.
Also, regarding that last part: On a scale from 1 to What, how likely would it be that Nintendo decided to get the rights to the franchise? They surely played no small part in the sequel and Bayonetta needs that Smash slot, man.
Considering the trend Sega is going now, I'd think it'd be more likely for them to allow Platinum Games to get back the rights.
And if that happened then any future games would probably go on Nintendo consoles since Platinum Games loved working with Nintendo for Bayo 2.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I just realized how Bayonetta this song sounds like, especially the end of the chorus.

Hey, you're right. A faster tempo and a few other background instruments might make a Bayo theme out of that.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Please stop reminding me Bayonetta isn't in Sm4sh.
Why would she be?
If I don't get Travis Touchdown, you don't get Bayonetta.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).did nintendo give Grasshopper Manufacture money and help in the development of NMH 1 and 2? otherwise it's not quite the same.
If I ever get a Wii U, Bayo 2 will be my first game on it.
