It looks like it was this pic as far back as we can see. A couple months ago an image pimp switched it to a MLP pic without discussion, then it got switched back. Do you have a suggestion? The current one is...okay, I guess.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things.Naw, that's all I wanted to know.
Always hiding my keys in the bug bucket, you bastard dog.It works well enough. I'd like to see a larger version, though.

As far as the Lion Witch and Wardrobe is concerned, I think the shot where the White Witch turned the fox to stone is more evocative. May or may not make a better picture though.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.This◊ isnt bad really its on par with the current image.... however both are really crappy, lets see some transformations people!
Along these lines.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!I like the second one a lot.
Fight smart, not fair.Whatever you do with the picture, I vote for keeping the caption.
This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.I think the current picture is fine, and I don't think that any of the other suggestions are better.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.The image looks like it could just be walking though something like the Terracotta Army. (IE Dragon Quest IX features an entire town constructed out of stone that was made from scratch as a dupe of the original because the artist couldn't go back.)
Showing that a real person is being Petrified is a must for this.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Yeah, we need something midway through the process for this.
Here's something from a photoshop tutorial. We could ask the creator for permission if we go for it.

Infinite Tree: an experimental storyThat's quite cool. If he'd give permission, it could work really well.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.If not there has got to be something good in Gargoyles or last resort use the terrible art in my Negima anime pic. (It was the only I could think of at the time in color... Black and white manga won't work.)

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Apparently somebody uploaded full clips from the first Narnia movie on You Tube — isn't that be a violation?
Anyway, in the meantime this is the shot I'm thinking of: [1]◊

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.3,4, and 5 are perfect.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Yeah. I like that even more than what I linked.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyHere's the relevant panels.
Like it a lot.
Fight smart, not fair.I'm gonna go ahead and call this one since the last pic's got some support and is much clearer than the current one. It's up, potholed, and tagged; I recycled the old caption. Locking up.
Unlocking because Stratadrake suggested an alternate arrangement that might work even better:
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
That's not bad, but if it's possible I'd prefer a little tighter crop on the top panel, it's a little hard to see the fox with all of that in the pic. If it can't be done then that pic's fine.

I sorta felt the first panel was important to establish the context. And since the actual transmogrification is occurs blink-and-miss-it quickly, shrinking those panels down somewhat helps reduce the muddy compression artifacts.
I've got my workfiles handy, I could probably crop the first panel a little tighter, though that makes the image a bit taller as a result.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Clarity trumps size economy every time.
I don't see the use of the first panel really.
Alright, was there an IP for this? Cause it sure as hell doesn't say so. I suspect someone changed it without permission.
