I think I'm responsible for slightly less than half the posts in the Troper Fencing Academy.

Spend an hour researching Old East Norse form for the Old English Scef/Sceaf, settling on Skøf.

Then spend another hour doing additional research to make sure it's right.

ABSOLUTE. PERFECTION.

I've memorized many dynastic lines, from the founding of the Spanish Habsburg line to its extinction.

And I completed the periodic table in a little over five minutes.

Okay that's pretty nerdy.

I do know a lot about what states existed when.

Also, there was no real Dutch identity until the 15th or 16th century.

Being both a research hound/larhund and a perfectionist don't go together very well. This is why I never get shit done.

On topic: Spend a minute while composing a post to research and construct "lore-hound" in Old English.

That I know how the German and Italian unifications happened (the former was Prussia extending control, the latter was Piedmont conquering the peninsula).
