I had my doubts about letting Oswald speak (although I do agree that the original game should have had voice acting; and if you've encountered me in the Zelda thread, you know how strange that is for me to say), but if they got Frank Welker, then I am optimistic.

He still could have turned down the sequel. I'm glad he didn't, but it's always a possibility.

Nah. Welker's probably got an Oswald contract now like the V As of the Fab Five do.

Speaking of Oswald (although it's a little off-topic) have they started making Oswald merchandise yet?

I believe some of his shorts have been re-released, now as being property of Disney.

so we might have a 3DS version that is a full side-scroll platform game that makes refferences to Castle of Illusion?...I'm sold if that's true...

Yeah Bad Wolf, there's been some Disney Oswald merch. Some came out when they got him back but didn't sell that well, but post Epic Mickey we got a really nice Oswald plush that's been popular. Also Japan's got a ton of Oswald stuff in their Disney stores.

Oh, we did get an Oswald plush? I remember looking around for one when Epic Mickey first came out, and couldn't find anything. I guess it's more recent than that.

Fuck yeah musical.

So the Mad Doctor is back, then?

Well one of the pitched subtitles was Return of the Mad Doctor. Of course he's back.

It makes sense, since he disappeared after his Robotic Reveal in the first game.

This looks interesting. I wonder if it's possible for two players to work against each other, one trying to fix things with the other trying to wreck it. It could be a awesome way to tackle the game.

One thing I think this sequel needs is more Beetleworx enemies. There was loads of them that went unused, and there were only three or so in the first game. I'd like to see more of these Eldritch Abominations (as long as they aren't on the level of the infamous concept art.)

Game Trailers TV's Epic Mickey episode's been going on then.

Opening of the game goes through Mickey's house and Yen Sid's Tower before getting into Wasteland.

Sidescrolling levels are back, but going a whole new direction. Travel levels now journey under Wasteland to it's foundations made up of more old Disney stuff. These tunnels are called DE Cs or Dahl Engineering Corridors.

Start of the story's essentially that in the midst of these quakes affecting the Wasteland, the Mad Doctor is claiming that he's had a Heel–Face Turn and is offering Beetleworx help to repair the damage. Oswald allows his help, but he and the others don't entirely trust him and send for Mickey.
