How do you propose that we show that she's gay?
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Well, the trope is about the stereotype, not so much about real life, so if the picture accurately represents the stereotype...
That last bit, about accurately representing a stereotype, seems like an oxymoron. Huh...

The second one appears to be a broken link. The first doesn't seem sufficiently "stereotypical" to me - she looks quite pretty, is wearing lots of makeup, etc.
Even though the trope isn't purely about looks (compared to, e.g., Green-Eyed Redhead), I think this trope is enough looks-related that the current image doesn't violate the JAFAAC principle.
Jet-a-Reeno!I'm not really seeing the "manly," there, though. She's just a woman in male dress clothes, which in and of itself does not a stereotype make...
I am now known as Flyboy. The Butch Lesbian, in her most stereotypical portrayal, should be someone a typical straight male would not find remotely attractive. The above example... does not fit that stereotype.

Jet-a-Reeno!How about this one◊:
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it....is that a guy or a girl driving the bike?
I honestly can't tell. It made me laugh though.
I am now known as Flyboy.Didn't that used to be the trope image?
I'm pretty sure that's the old trope image. Not sure why we changed it. Might have something to do with the fact that it's almost impossible to tell the biker's gender.
Reaction Image RepositoryLooks female to me.
How about a pic that showing the Butch Lesbian being mushy-mushy or close with another girl? That seems an okay way to demonstrate the stereotype.
Or maybe something that states she's a lesbian?

Yahoo suggests this◊
Doesn't fit the stereotype...
I am now known as Flyboy.Bump...I'm not exactly happy with the current pic, but I don't dislike it enough to want to pull it.
How about one of these images from If These Walls Could Talk 2? They show both the "butch" and the "lesbian" part.
(Personally I like the first one better, because of the butch pose.)
There's always Stephen the Lesbian. If the ones at 2:28 are NSFW (though we could just censor out the nipples on the magazine), there's always the main Butch Lesbian throughout the video.
I dunno, the characters in that video look more like caricatures of butch dykes as imagined by some straight guy than real butches.
I like Tuomas' images. Both of them, but the first is probably better.
Jet-a-Reeno!I like Madrugada's pic better; that's one manly chick.
That pic is terrifying...her muff probably has an actual beard.
I'm partial to Tuomas' pics...either would be good.

That biker pic seems fairly obvious. The bitch is even groping her boobs. I know that fat men have man-boobs, but those are rather shapely... yeah, I still see a woman.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
I don't see how it represents anything Butch Lesbian. It's just a somewhat masculine looking girl posing with a bunch of star tattoos on her arm.
The trope needs an image that showcases the fact she's gay.
