Ahhhhh I've been waiting all week to see how that thread ends...

I'm very sad in the end we really couldn't save everyone, but I'm also really glad the show stuck to its guns about this being a very one-way-or-another ultimatum.

Just watched the Ghost movie.

It was a thing. They could have at least hired more English actors for some of the other icons who weren't ethnically Japanese.

Maybe it's just them giving America the finger for all those live action animes that don't have Japanese actors.

Ahhh, I do so hope they get a crossover with Double. Renn Kiriyama loved doing returning appearances, didn't he?

An idea how the gimmick works in toy form.

The secondaries.

So the base blue-red form is RABBIT+TANK

Orange is Taka (eagle), dark orange is maybe Gorilla, can't read what the purple is.
For the other switch, there is Diamond, Gatling and another unclear.

It looks like they are taking concepts from both Double and OOO's and just going nuts with it.

Base form is Rabbit/Tank, others are Gorilla/Diamond, Hedgehog/Tank, Rabbit/Cleaning(Cleansing?) and Hawk/Gatling. Interesting choices certainly. Secondaries are Night Rogue and Kamen Rider Close (people seem confused on that translation though).

Is there any difference in kana between Close and Claws? If it's the dragon-like Rider, of course.

Honestly Build is just screaming for a Double crossover at the very least.◊

I think it's just that his agency either won't let him do Kamen Rider stuff anymore, or he's just plain too busy for Kamen Rider. Kinda like Den-O's and Fourze's actors.

Shotaro's actor seems like he's still totally open for it though.

Man and I thought Drive's designs were bad. I know we're still three months away from the show airing but...I'm not a fan.

Judging from other sites most people seem to like them so far.

Seems like cleaning might be a vacuum cleaner. My 'Kamen Rider themes are literally randomly generated' theory is gaining steam There's also some kind of "best match" thing, so it might be like OOO where he can randomly mix but some combos are just better.

They could still have Kamen Rider Joker show up in a Hyper Battle Video or summer movie or something.

I like Build's design a lot, but I think its similarity to W and OOO is kinda... Idk.

Build looks like Heat/Trigger fell into a pool of Rule of Cool and he came out like this.

Just finished the Ghost / Ex-Aid movie.

Not even sure what brought Haruto and Kouta there in the first place, but (despite the criticism towards Wizard) it was great to see both of them...well ok, we don't actually see Kouta but lets not be picky.

In hindsight, Doc Pacman was fucked the moment those two showed up. One kicked a dude into the fucking sun (how it's going up there Phoenix?! XD), and the other is fucking God! You can't fight that shit. They may be two of the strongest Heisei Riders, if not two of the strongest Riders period.

Add in Drive, who's pretty strong in his own right, and it's bye bye bad guys.

...what does Haruto do as a day job? I never thought of it back during his own series, but he has to make money somehow right?

I like to assume Riders who aren't explicitly shown to have a day job by the end just hobo it up and adventure around helping people like Kuuga and OOO.

For Haruto... I assumed he was just freeloading off Wajima the whole time. I figure if he's still hobo-rider-ing it up after the end, he throws impromptu magic shows for a quick buck.

And then there are Riders whose profession is (or used to be) being a Rider, like Blade.

I've started (well, I watched the first few a while back but I've got back into) watching Wizard now. I've heard a lot of people weren't impressed but I like the suit designs at least. It's entirely possible he's just freeloading.

The suit designs for Wizard are my primary reason for liking it so much.

That and I think the Wizard Sword Gun is cool.

Which is why I am quite wary of cool Rider designs. I heard someone say years ago that the coolness of the designs tended to be inversely proportional to the quality of the story. Wizard seemed to have gone down this route, which is a shame - his gadgets are awesome and the belt/weapon sounds are really catchy.

I know right?

How much of it do you know? There's one plot element that I thought was pretty cool myself.
