I'm feeling particularly unforgiving today. I'd delete all the "examples" that are just the phrase or whatever, potholed to the work it's originally from. That's just f'in' lazy editing.

It also looks like they were sorted alphabetically at some time (somehow, anyway; it wasn't by the spelling of the shoutout itself, and it wasn't by the spelling of the source...) when the page was much smaller, but nobody kept it up, and new examples were simply added at the bottom.

Yes, this is much better.
Virtually all of the entries in this article are just a single quote with a pot-hole. It doesn't show how they're a Stock Shout Out, and a lot of them are actually quite obscure. (Just off the top of my head, there's a Fist Of The North Star one that I've never seen used). Furthermore, they're not organized into genres and look like they're alphabetically organized, but there are a lot of entries that seem to have missed that memo. It's not a very useful article at all in this state.
