[up][up][up][up] Underminer sequel was the video game. Also, the comic books have done a damn good job of continuing the story, though the ending story arc is currently stuck in limbo leaving us with a dead Underminer resulting from outliving his usefulness and a case of The Bad Guy Wins as a final issue.

But what if the dinosaurs weren't all destroyed? What if the impact of that meteorite created a parallel dimension where the dinosaurs continued to thrive and evolved into vicious, intelligent, aggressive beings... just like us? And hey? What if they found a way back?

Like what Dr Mcninja is doing now?

I've seen an argument that The Incredibles is their film most deserving of a sequel. This I agree with. That's usually followed up with "give us an Underminer movie!" This I don't agree with. That's a throwaway ending. Bomb Voyage was a villain in the movie too. I liked him better than the Underminer. I don't want a movie with either as the focus villain, because neither can support a full length film.

I think it's more that, as the story's end was extremely open (I think that's the most open ending Pixar has ever had), and in a superhero universe no less, it's one of the few Pixar movies where a sequel would be in no way unexpected.

They wouldn't have to limit themselves to the villains they already established, they could just make a new one - it's a superhero/secret-agent universe, after all.

Yeah, and I'd much prefer a new villain. I'd rather not see the Underminer show up in any greater extent than a mention in passing of the Underminer case being a while ago.
