Clocking due to lack of activity.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.To clarify moderator activity here:
There was a holler to clock the thread as inactive and that was done. Shortly after there was another holler to attach a crowner. The clock was for an inactive thread, not for the crowner. If there isn't any activity on the thread by the time the clock expires, we can lock it for lack of interest. If there is activity on the thread and the crowner then we can continue the process.
Huh? So we need to establish consensus in the crowner and at the same time hold a discussion about it?
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I won't lock the thread unless consensus is reached on the crowner and no activity is done on that, or the crowner idles off into oblivion with not enough votes and no other actions are proposed.
Clocks don't mean "we will close this when the clock expires, period." We use our judgement on whether the thread is still active.

Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Read the last several posts to get up to speed and here's what I think
1. 'Rich' should replace 'prince' in the title. The trope reads that the character is rich and sheltered but not royalty (can be but not necessarily). Therefore the name should reflect their wealth instead of their status
2. 'naive' shold replace 'white' in the name. The trope reads that they have no 'experience' due to being sheltered. They may have tutors and know a lot but have no experience.
3. The name should be gender neutral. Both guys and girls can be 'obsecenly rich and exceddingly naive' and both can be either sympathetic or antagonistic about it. Relating the trope to Princess Classic could continue 'misuse as actual prince'.

Calling crowner in favor of renaming.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.In terms of new names, remember that the trope is not about actual princes, but about upper class people in general.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Sheltered Aristocrat? Royally Naive?
"Doctor Who means never having to say you're kidding." - BocajCrowners swapped. (Think we could make a reality show from that?)

"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerIf this is not about actual princes, but upper class people in general, is there one that is strictly for royalty? Post 51 listed four who apply. It can probably be it's own trope. Most examples (at least in literature) have prince in the title.
