Yeah I was going to say there is not a functioning democracy in the Arab world that lets anyone vote anyways. As or the Islamic world in general even the functioning democracies are being taken over by Islamists. Kind of furthers Maher's point.

There was a holler about this thread stating that the post in question is straying from the purpose of the thread. After reading the thread I cannot determine the purpose.
Rather than starting a discussion by sending the reader down a yellow brick road of links, why not sum up the idea for discussion and then post the link for verification?
