Actually there was only one pun that got added. Did you catch it?
Those big bangs want to make my universe!
(I guess you could argue about This digging stuff sure is deep though.)
At least it didn't sound like the translation of that particular part took the original context out of existance
Which is a good thing
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...Know what, this really is the kind of show which gg subs complement nicely.
Also, wow, hilarious episode. That narm charm is relentless, and all those classic lines! A bit disappointed that Andy was replaced by Amata in the fight, but he got a heroic sacrifice moment and a soon-to-be girlfriend out of it!
And next episode should be very, very interesting~
I'm still dying to find out what's actually going on with the plot. Who is a reincarnation of who and so forth.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntWord from the staff is that the reincarnation bit 'will soon be made obvious'. If it's anything like the original series, I'm guessing that episode twelve/thirteen will be the first real bit of explanation that we get.
I'm really interested to see where Zessica fits into all of this, myself. She's clearly part of the main trio, yet we've been given diddly/squat in the way of backstory for her.
Well, people can be split up like what happened in the original Aquarion...
I can't remember exactly how that worked anyway.

You mean how Celine turned into Silvia and Sirius, and Apollonius turned into Apollo and Aquarion Solar? The former was because Celine was horrified at how her love for Apollonius nearly caused the world to end ON TOP of destroying Atlandia.
The latter was because Scorpius ripped off Apollonius' wings before killing him — the wingless Apollonius became Apollo, while his wings merged with Solar Aquarion.
Things happened a little differently in the movie of course.

I really don't think we're going to see much in the way of 'split souls' this time around. Parallel reincarnations? Sure. Using the same plot twist twice? Not so much.
And Episode 10 is out.
Jin really does not cope well with girls. To be expected, I suppose, what with being the last son on a stag planet. Also, anyone who ships Jinx Yunoha is probably going to be validated. In other news, new lyrics to the ending crawl this week, and they're significantly darker in tone. There's nothing really in the episode to justify them, but it definitely looks like we're starting to move into the meat of the plot.
Damn. I have to say this episode is one of my favorites yet.
Yeah, really liked the way Jin came across really assholish when in fact he just on edge, barely understanding what was going on around him, and naturally introverted.

What's more awesome? Jin curious about his own force field power, or Zen the mentlegen KNOWS about Jin and keeps him in, then expect him to somehow turn into Reverse Mole?
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...I think the best moment was Jin describing a woman's secret weapon
Tears
And with the hilarious Romeo and Juliet re-enactment by Jin (that he probably didn't even KNOW of), we had yet another use of a S1 song:

Man, for zero aquarion action this was a great episode. I wonder if Jin is gonna pull a Heel–Face Turn.
Hell I'm not even convinced the antagonists are real Heels (save for the Gay Angel)
Yeah, they're just really desperate... But that's what happens when there's been zero population growth for nearly two decades.
Yeah. The misogynic pandemic or whatever turned the planet into a dark red mess, and men into rapists, which may not exclude Kagura who has wolf-gone ways
It's no wonder whatsoever that Jin's so nervous about this. But I'm going to watch him turn 'around', hehe
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...We mostly have legitimate conflict of interest here, with both sides of the battle having being motivated by good but incompatible goals. Except then we have crazy-Kagura and shady-as-hell-Mykage.
The three stars that form the Summer Triangle are Altair, Deneb and Vega. And because the Japanese do not have words to differentiate between Stars and Planets, this fits perfectly. Deneb will be the name of the third planet, and the third enemy.
Plus it keeps up with Kawamori's obsession with Triangles!
That makes E equals MC PERFECT SQUARE SENSE!

While the three stars do form the Summer Triangle, why am I thinking that this conflict is drawing more inspiration from Tanabata instead? Interesting theory though, but I WILL facepalm hard if we do get Deneb... and it's populated by Shadow Angels.
Our villains can't even avert Poor Communication Kills. As this is what they would have to ask. "Hey can you send a ton of women over to our planet, also there is next to no chance for any of them to be able to survive on our planet."
Not to mention the whole trans dimensional travel ITSELF puts girls at risk, let alone living there. LET ALONE being pregnant there. NOT EVEN MENTION giving birth there!
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...I'm kind of wondering why they don't move to Vega, though.
I mean, yeah, they are a few problem inherit in that, but not potentially species-ending problems, and it's kind of a better option than 'kill them until we find one that doesn't die, and then make that one into the mother of an entire generation'.
I was thinking that this is kind of the perfect show for gg's general style; it lets you guys slip in the zingers you're so fond of without comprising the show's original intent in the slightest.
