Try explaining that swifts and swallows are from two different orders of birds to some people.
If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead?

Occasionally I get a serious suspicion that people think ponies are just baby horses. Apart from that, not really, except for a complusive need to correct people who say 'koala bear'.

TROLL THREAD COMIN THROUGH>>>>
- Have you ever met someone mistake an animal or thing for something else with such certainty that you want to smack the back of their head, while acting like a know-it-all douche in the process!
- Unfortunately this happens to me all the time. I hear someone mistake an animal or it's habits for something else and I feel the irresistible urge to correct them (for example, telling a group of kids at the petting zoo in the Orange County fair that they're petting a wallaby and not a baby kangeroo).
